Thomas Tuchel has made an excellent start as Chelsea head coach. He has put together a nice little run of five straight wins in all competitions and he has done it by, first and foremost, making them difficult to play against.

With six successive league defeats, Southampton are at the opposite end of the form table. They have not turned into a bad side, but they will be short of confidence and it is hard to see them ending that run this weekend.

    Prediction: 0-2

Further ahead, have Manchester City got it wrapped up already?

It hasn't taken Thomas Tuchel too long to turn things around at Chelsea, unbeaten in the German's first six matches and already back into the top four.

The Londoners travel down to the south coast for a meeting with out-of-form Southampton this lunchtime, knowing victory will take them just a point behind Manchester United and Leicester.

Tuchel's Blues are on the charge.
