Jack Tanner: Fulham are gonna stay up you know

Sutcliffe: Cometh the hour, cometh the Lookman

Sulaimon: Fulham deserves the lead. Poor defending from Ampadu. Ademola Lookman had it coming. Brilliant finish.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 66 mins

    Fulham 1-0 Sheffield United

And that's more like it form the Blades! Billy Sharp is able to pick out a neat pass into the path of Enda Stevens, piling into the area on the left. He hits it low and Alphonse Areola makes a big save with his legs.

From the corner Kean Bryan gets up to head across goal and it just needed a touch.

    Much more like it...

Ademola Lookman scored in the reverse fixture as well but Sheffield United got a late penalty, if memory serves.

    Ademola Lookman (61 mins)

    THERE IT IS!

Ademola Lookman has put Fulham ahead. And how big a goal could that be?

Centre-half Joachim Andersen fizzes a lovely ball out to him on the left, he's allowed to beat Ethan Ampadu far too easily, weak defending, and then he lashes a shot through the legs of Aaron Ramsdale and in.

Not great at all from the Blades' perspective. But a potentially giant goal for the hosts!

An hour gone. 150 minutes of Premier League football for me today without a goal.

    Anyone making a breakthrough?!

Oliver Norwood with real quality - what a ball in, whipped in from the right and Billy Sharp slides in to volley over the top! He took that away from Oli McBurnie in fact.

The offside flag was up but that could have been overturned. There was nothing in it. Better!

    Fulham 0-0 Sheffield United

United get a free-kick out wide but Oliver Norwood's ball in is dealt with. Here come Fulham - and that's nearly brilliant!

Ruben Loftus-Cheek drives into the area, he beats two defenders and steers it toward the bottom corner - and there's George Baldock to clear off the line!

Rich: Sheff Utd and WBA are gone. Fulham's survival depends on the March results. Could be all over by April.

Yep, Chris Basham is done. On comes Oliver Norwood, which will see Ethan Ampadu move back into defence.

Not ANOTHER injury at the back?!

It looks like it. Chris Basham has pulled a muscle and if so, that will be all of Chris Wilder's first choice back three out.

The Unknown Soldier: Sheffield United absolutely deserve relegation, in a game where it’s a must win against Fulham, in that first half zero shots. Not even a shot in row z! Poor.

    Fulham 0-0 Sheffield United

Sheffield United have failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last 17 Premier League away fixtures, since a 0-0 draw at Aston Villa on 17 June 2020 in the first Premier League match played after the coronavirus suspension.

When the cameras had a meltdown. We're playing again.

Hope Fulham win this and go on to make the relegation battle a real scrap. Nothing worse than everything petering out. Especially when City are running away with the title.

Everyone talks about Liverpool's injuries in defence because of that 'big club' status. Blades don't get talked about enough - 4 out of 5 starting defenders injured for significant time this season. O'connell arguably a bigger miss than VVD.
