Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers, speaking to BBC Sport:

“I thought we didn’t play well in the first half. We didn’t have the ball enough. I expected us to pressure them more. We were too static; I thought we looked a little tired to be honest.

“In the second half we showed more spirit but we were unlucky with the third goal. Credit to our players, they kept working and gave everything. We just lost to the better team today.

“Arsenal are able to rotate their squad. We tried to rotate our team on Thursday. It’s not ideal [having matches so close together] but we have to play the games. We just get on with it.

On injuries to his players: “I think Jamie Vardy is okay. He felt his calf go making a pass but it was fine for the rest of the game.

“It looks like Harvey Barnes is going to need an operation on his knee. I just spoke to the doctor; he might be out for six weeks. That’ll be a huge blow for us.

“It’s been unfortunate but it’s the uniqueness of the season. We haven’t cried about it all season, we’re not going to start now.

“We have to find a way with the players that we have. The players have been on a brilliant run over the course of the season. Twelve games to go, those influential players are out. The challenge is to find a way to keep [our form] going.”

The half ends with Jay Rodriguez testing Hugo Lloris. But this has been Tottenham's half. They've bossed it.

Space opens up for Lucas Moura to find Son Heung-Min whose cross is only half cleared to Serge Aurier to have a pop. That's not going to make the highlights package.

Tottenham have taken their foot off the gas as half-time approaches. Burnley are still to seriously work Hugo Lloris and have a mountain to climb if they are to rescue this game. It's been a stroll in the park for the hosts.

Surely Mourinho can afford to throw on Dele Alli for the second half?

Son Heung-Min will be getting jealous that he hasn't got a goal - him and Dele Alli must be itching to get a piece of the action.

Spurs have scored 39 Premier League goals this season, with 32 of them (82%) featuring either Harry Kane or Son Heung-min as the scorer or assister - including both today.

Sean Dyche said pre-match he was looking forward to seeing his players make their physical presence felt.

It's not happening.

Son Heung-Min is allowed to saunter deep into Burnley's half unchallenged before finding Gareth Bale who lashes it over the bar.

A sniff of a chance for Matej Vydra but his touch is all wrong. Was he trying to pass that or shoot? It trickles back into Tottenham's possession and the home side counter.

Spurs are such a joy to watch when they play with a carefree, free-flowing spirit. Son Heung-Min, Harry Kane and Gareth Bale are running the show. Burnley are struggling to get a look in.

A reminder that Burnley are just five points above the relegation zone. And their goal difference is taking a bit of a hit.

This is what Tottenham fans have been screaming for - once Harry Kane gets in these positions that outcome is always going to happen. The ball from Gareth Bale is superb but it does take a massive deflection. I think Nick Pope would've saved that without the deflection.
