Liverpool full-back Andy Robertson, the only Reds player to start every top-flight game this season: "For me, there’s no easy game against Sheffield United. Last season when we played them, they were two of the hardest games we played all season – especially away from home.
"Similar to us in a shorter period of time, you don’t turn into a bad team overnight; they have still got the same players that are full of quality, they have got a fantastic manager who is clearly well regarded in the game, and they are desperate for points as well.
So, for me, it’s definitely not ‘a perfect game’ if people are saying it like that."

Full answer from Luke Shaw on the VAR decision, speaking to Sky Sports "I don't know. At the time I saw a handball. I didn't know if it was Mason Greenwood or Callum Hudson-Odoi. I just carried on. I didn't even know there was a VAR check. I don't know why they stopped it. If it was a penalty... but if they didn't think it was a penalty I don't know why they needed to stop.
"The referee even said to [Harry Maguire], I heard him say, 'if I say it's a penalty then it's going to cause a lot of talk about it afterwards.' So I don't know what happened there.
"[Maguire] said they got told it was a penalty. They got told it was a penalty by VAR so... I'm not sure. I don't understand. If he's going to stop then you think he is going to give a penalty. We had the ball, we were attacking so it's confusing with this VAR.
"If it's not going to be a penalty they might as well just carry on the game and not stop the flow of the game. It was another one, that look, I'm not going to moan about it because I don't think either team did enough to win."

Remember the spat between Chris Wilder and Jurgen Klopp earlier this season?
The Blades boss accused his counterpart of being selfish when he advocated a return of the five substitutes rule, believing it would give those with much bigger squads an advantage, and later described the German as a "world-class politician".
Klopp responded by pointing out Wilder's side only had one point on the board at the time.
Well, it appears the tension between the pair has eased.
"I've got nothing but admiration for Jurgen, he's a top-class manager," said Wilder at his pre-match news conference.
"If it was personal, I didn't take it personal, and I have moved on and for me to worry about stuff like that is way down the pecking order."

More from Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel: "We had the better chances and played high up the pitch in the second half. We have to accept a draw in the end and a clean sheet. We had a very good reaction after half time. We stepped up and got better and better with higher recoveries. We went for a win but it did not happen.
"In this highest level, at some points, maybe two big chances have to be enough. If you don't do that then we have to be alert and aware of the counter-attacks and quality from Manchester United. We did this and defended very well. This was extraodinary effort and quality. We take it and go on."
On the VAR no-penalty decision: "I was anxious before I thought I was totally wrong. From my point of view it was totally clear that a man in red touched it. When I saw it on the iPad I could not understand what was going on as it was only the man with the red shirt who touched it. I did not understand what the check was for.
"It is a solid start. We struggle with scoring which is obvious but we keep on trying to be more clinical in the last few metres. We were happy to decide the Atletico match 1-0. Today it was possible too but we missed a bit of luck which is important in matches like this where you need to have momemtum on your side."

With his side facing relegation after two seasons in the Premier League, Chris Wilder says he has felt more like a counsellor than a football manager at times this season.
"These players have swum the channel to get in the position they are," said the Blades boss, who has shared winning the League One title and promotion from the Championship with many of the players in his current squad over the past five years.
"I'm not going to smash them over the head. I support them. Sometimes, what they have done in such a short period of time, is overlooked a bit.
"Am I being a counsellor as much as a manager? Yes, it seems that way, because we are trying to keep spirits high and positive."

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, speaking to BBC MOTD: "It was a penalty, 100% nailed on. If that's a natural position for a hand to be in when the ball comes in then I must be blind.
"We wanted to win. Apart from the last quality or pass being not good enough... we had great pressing, desire, work-rate... There was a great save by David de Gea and we got the clean sheet.
"That's what let us down, that quality on the ball. The first half was scrappy. Poor game really. But then we played some good stuff at times. When we settled we created a few chances but we didn't have enough.
"It was a good block by Luke Shaw. That's what you do when there is a goal to be saved, you put your body on the line. I thought we were excellent defensively."

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, speaking to Sky Sports: "Sheffield United are fighting to survive. They will still think there's a chance they can survive so it's going to be a tough game for us.
"We need luck to win the game like the last time we were here. After a game where you don't perform the way you wanted, you want to play again quickly. We have had to wait a full week and we're here to change it."

Chelsea
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a high quality game between two very strong teams. We suffered in the first half but overall it was an even game. In the second half I thought we were really strong.
"I thought we were closer to winning it, but there was a lot of quality on the pitch. Performance-wise I’m satisfied. We defended very well in the last line and I’m very happy with that.
"We were not good enough in the first half to attack the spaces. To find the solution was not always easy and we lost a bit of confidence with some easy ball losses.
"We said at half-time not to worry. We changed to a 5-3-2 to have higher ball recoveries and to regain confidence, and the boys did that very well. We were very close to winning.
"We take what we got. I’m absolutely happy. Against a team like Man United you don’t get many chances."
On the penalty incident in the first half: How can this be a VAR intervention? The player in red plays the ball with the hand and then we are checking for a penalty? Why does the referee have to see this?
"I’ve seen it on the iPad, I don’t understand why the referee has to check it but I’m glad it was no penalty. That would make it even worse."

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he does not believe his squad requires a "massive rebuild" this summer.
Four successive top-flight defeats have left the defending Premier League champions 22 points behind leaders Manchester City.
Twelve members of Klopp's squad are aged 28 or over, including nine of their regular first-team players.
"I don't think it is time for a massive rebuild like how I understand it," said Klopp
"The squad of this year didn't have the chance to play together one time really. I think it would make sense to have a look at that problem but on top of that, of course little readjustments will happen.
"Reacting on the situation but planning at the same time for the future and all these kinds of things. I am not sure we can do that in the summer but that is what we will try."

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was quite an evenly matched game. There weren’t too many chances. We were both quite safe. We defended well, but I don’t think we created too many chances. We’re a bit disappointed with that.
"The gap [to Manchester City] is getting bigger so we needed to win. We need to keep pushing and move on. We’ve got a point against a very good team. They defend well so we have to look at it like that."
On the first-half penalty incident: "I saw a handball, I didn’t know if it was Mason [Greenwood] or Callum [Hudson-Odoi]. I don’t know why they stopped the game. If it’s not a penalty I don’t think they needed to stop it.
"It’s confusing with this VAR. If it’s not going to be a penalty, they might as well carry on with the game."

Where do you start with Liverpool? Firstly, I have to say Everton thoroughly deserved their win at Anfield last weekend.
But, as bad as things have been for Jurgen Klopp's side, I don't see them slipping up again here.
Sheffield United have only won once at Bramall Lane all season and they were pretty poor in their defeat at Fulham last week too.
The Blades will know that the Reds have a weakness at the back and they really have to go for it here anyway - there is no point them playing for a draw. I just fancy Liverpool to pick them off though.
Yes, Liverpool have lost Jordan Henderson at the back to another injury, but their defensive problems won't matter if they play like they can going forward.
Prediction: 0-2

Manchester United must've set up thinking Chelsea were going to come out fighting and the game started quire brightly but it never got going. Olivier Giroud looked a bit off colour, didn't really link up his touch and he almost played into everyone but having said that neither Mason Mount nor Hakim Ziyech really linked up with him.
Neither team was aggressive enough with their running or trying to get in behind and it just fizzled out and turned into a tight scrappy match that wasn't particularly entertaining.

Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen, speaking to Sky Sports: "I think the first half was a little back and forward. In the second half we had the chances but didn't do enough to be dangerous. It was a tough game. We had the second half, let's put it that way.
"They will probably be happy with it. We just wanted to win. We're happy with it. We feel like after the second half we probably deserved to win."
Was a point fair? "I think so, yes."
On the VAR penalty decision: "I saw it but from my view it was their player who touched the ball. I don't know why they have to check it. It was quite obvious from my view. I think just leave it."
