  1. HALF-TIME - Hamilton 0-0 Rangerspublished at 12:46 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2021

Not a great first 45 minutes. Hamilton have been good value for the draw.

    Rangers haven't really got going.

  2. Postpublished at 44 mins

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

James Tavernier's free-kick whistles over the bar. Was from a central position right on the edge of the box. The Rangers captain just doesn't get enough dip on the ball.

  3. 'Accie gameplan spot on'published at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2021

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

    Neil McCann
Former Hearts & Rangers winger on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Rangers threatened to get a grip on this game but it's just faded and they haven't created any chances of note. Credit to Brian Rice, the gameplan has been spot on so far.

  4. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

Hamilton's Lee Hodson blazes a shot over the bar from the edge of the box. Really good intent shown by Accies this afternoon.

By no means just sitting deep.

  5. 'Goldson at fault'published at 12:39 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2021

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

    Derek Ferguson
Former Rangers and Hamilton midfielder on Sportsound

    Quote Message

I don't know what Goldon's thinking about, he's hammered it at Helander. Goldson is the one at fault, it's madness to play a square ball like that across your own box.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 37 mins

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

What a chance for Bruce Anderson! Connor Goldson makes a rare error and smashes a pass at Filip Helander, who struggles to control the ball.

Anderson is on it in a flash, but Allan McGregor races out to save his shot on the angle. As close as Accies have come.

  7. CLOSE!published at 35 mins

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

Joe Aribo drops the shoulder, glides away from a red-and-white shirt, and curls a delightful shot towards the far corner. Inches wide.

  8. 'Odoffin ideal as a midfielder'published at 12:32 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2021

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

  9. 'Hamilton playing without fear'published at 12:28 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2021

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

    Neil McCann
Former Hearts & Rangers winger on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Hamilton don't look like a side who are devoid of confidence, they don't look as though they're playing with any fear. They are leaving gaps that Rangers might exploit but they believe in themselves to match up to them and so far they are.

  10. Low-key startpublished at 26 mins

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

It's been a familiar Rangers performance so far to what we've seen in recent weeks.

Not playing with the full-throttle tempo we've become accustomed to, but not really looking like being under serious pressure either.

  11. 'Accies at full pelt'published at 12:22 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2021

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

    Derek Ferguson
Former Rangers and Hamilton midfielder on Sportsound

    Quote Message

Accies are having to go at full pelt here just to keep up with Rangers, they've barely touched the ball since the opening few minutes

  12. Tough conditionspublished at 19 mins

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

It's blustery at New Douglas Park. You can see a few wrappers swirling about the place.

If you've ever been, you'll know it's an exposed stadium. Bitterly cold.

Anyway, Rangers starting to knock the ball about.

  13. CLOSE!published at 15 mins

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

Ianis Hagi picks up a nice pocket of space, and drives an effort from 25 yards which flashes wide.

Obviously feeling confident after his goal during the week!

  14. Hamilton at the racespublished at 12 mins

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

Bruce Anderson combines well with Marius Ogkmpoe and fires a shot goalward, but it's deflected behind for a corner by Connor Goldson.

Rangers get a free-kick from the resulting corner for a foul on Allan McGregor.

Brian Rice won't be too displeased with their start here.

  15. 'Hagi's work rate exceptional'published at 12:11 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2021

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

    Derek Ferguson
Former Rangers and Hamilton midfielder on Sportsound

    Quote Message

It's a real feature of Hagi's play is how hard he works off the ball. We know he has quality on the ball but his work rate is exceptional. He's become a real asset in this Rangers side.

  16. 'Rangers asking questions in wide areas'published at 12:07 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2021

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

    Neil McCann
Former Hearts & Rangers winger on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

I love the way Rangers play in the wide areas. They just get it in the box, no time wasted building the play. It asks a lot of questions of the oppositions centre backs

  17. Kent threatenspublished at 7 mins

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

Ryan Kent gets the first shot on target of this game. He surges down the left and into the box, but his shot on the angle is comfortably saved by Ryan Fulton.

  18. Bright Accies startpublished at 4 mins

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

Decent start from Hamilton. They've seen a lot more of the ball than you might expect.

They'll have to go some to score against this Rangers defence, though.

They concede one goal every four games.

  19. KICK-OFFpublished at 12:00 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2021

    Hamilton 0-0 Rangers

We're up and running at New Douglas Park!

  20. Last win against Rangers 'A distant memory' - Ricepublished at 12:00 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2021

    Hamilton v Rangers (12:00)

Speaking to BBC Radio Scotland Accies manager Brian Rice:

"It's fantastic to look back on the win against Rangers last year but that's what it is, a distant memory. It's all about today it's going to be difficult. Stick to the game plan, run further, jump higher but most importantly go and enjoy. It's huge for us the position we're in, strange things can happen in football.

"We can't affect what happens elsewhere, I believe in these lads. It's taken us time but I believe in these young players. We expect a tough game like we always get"
