  1. goal

GOAL St Mirren 0-2 Celticpublished at 78 mins

    Odsonne Edouard

Emphatic. The Frenchman takes an age to run up, and then smashes the ball into Jak Alnwick's right-hand corner.

The penalty was given after Ryan Flynn was judged to have pushed Greg Taylor over.

    It's probably game over now.

    St Mirren 0-1 Celtic

Joe Shaughnessy gets his head to a deep free-kick, but it trundles through to Scott Bain. The St Mirren captain was too far away from goal and couldn't generate anywhere near enough power.

    St Mirren 0-1 Celtic

St Mirren's Dylan Connolly is replaced by Cammy MacPherson.

They've not thrown a punch in this second half St Mirren, but they're still only a goal down.

  5. Rogic just shortpublished at 69 mins

    St Mirren 0-1 Celtic

Ooft, Odsonne Edouard's clever cross just evades Tom Rogic.

The Australian's pace is not his strong point. If he was a little quicker he'd have had a tap in.

  6. Welsh's night overpublished at 21:26 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2021

    St Mirren 0-1 Celtic

Stephen Welsh has to go off on a stretcher, with Shane Duffy coming on in his place.

A real shame for the 21-year-old, who has been a bright spark for Celtic recently in a tough season.

Ryan Christie is also on, with Albian Ajeti trotting off.

  7. Postpublished at 63 mins

    St Mirren 0-1 Celtic

St Mirren can't string three passes together at the moment, it's all Celtic.

A nasty challenge from Jon Obika leaves Stephen Welsh struggling on the deck. He gets a yellow card for it.

It wasn't anything malicious, but he's definitely caught the young Celtic defender's ankle.

St Mirren are being so stretched. Kyle McAllister is having to come back and help the midfield all the time, so the gap between midfield and Obika, the lone striker, is about 20 yards.

  9. CLOSE!published at 60 mins

    St Mirren 0-1 Celtic

Celtic have definitely sprung into life. A delightful pass from Callum McGregor sets Tom Rogic free, and he had the option to play in Albian Ajeti but goes himself and drags the ball wide of the post.

Odsonne Edouard should score. It's a brilliantly constructed move from Celtic. If Edouard lifts it at all, it's a goal. He just tries to pass it into the bottom corner and Jak Alnwick does incredibly well to save.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 57 mins

    St Mirren 0-1 Celtic

Celtic have just started to up the pace a little, and Odsonne Edouard really has to score here.

A nice move results in Tom Rogic squaring it from the Frenchman and he side-foots it along the ground, and Jak Alnwick saves with an outstretched leg.

Moments later David Turnbull forces Alnwick into another save from distance. Great hit on him.

  14. Durmus hits wallpublished at 50 mins

    St Mirren 0-1 Celtic

Is there anything more disappointing in football than a long wait for a free-kick, followed by the ball being driven straight into the wall?

That's what Ilkay Durmus has just done from a promising position just to the right of the D. Chance gone for St Mirren.

  15. Postpublished at 48 mins

    St Mirren 0-1 Celtic

Conor McCarthy does well to block Odsonne Edouard's shot on the turn. Kristoffer Ajer was at it again in the build up, charging up from the back.

Up the other end, the Norwegian fouls Jon Obika.

  16. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2021

Right lads, I've been at this for four and a half hours and need some inspiration to keep me awake.

    That means goals, goals, goals.

I've been impressed with the way St Mirren have passed the ball, and at times, they have got into good areas, but they have not really managed to threaten too much.

  18. Celtic have 'not created much else' after goalpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2021

Jamie McGrath was a big, big loss to St Mirren. There was a little bit of disorganisation and Tom Rogic exploited it. He picked his spot in the corner and left Alnwick with no chance. Celtic will be delighted to have scored because they haven't created much else.

  19. Wright 'encouraged' despite Killie losspublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2021

    FT: Kilmarnock 0-1 Motherwell

Kilmarnock manager Tommy Wright saw a lot of good things despite opening his time at Kilmarnock with defeat.

"We controlled large parts of the game, got into areas of the pitch where we should have made more of it," he said.

"Maybe the quality and movement into the box could have been better. Just that final bit of the jigsaw wasn't there tonight. We've been caught with a sucker punch from a quick throw in.

"They [the players] actually believe they bossed the game and they did.

"Where we are in the league you could say we're in a relegation dogfight, but there's 10 games to go, 30 points to play for, and I think we should be encouraged by how we played tonight. I'm certainly encouraged."

  20. 'We had to grind' - Alexanderpublished at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2021

    FT: Kilmarnock 0-1 Motherwell

Motherwell manager Graham Alexander gave us his thoughts after his side's narrow 1-0 win over Kilmarnock earlier.

"It was a tight game all the way through," he said. "Both teams competed at a great level. We said at half-time it could be a grind but if we can find that bit of quality we can win the game and so it proved.

"It's the first clean sheet for quite a while too, and added onto it the three points - it's a good night for us."
