And that's that! Tommy Wright will be pleased with a lot of what he saw from Kilmarnock tonight, but they just weren't good enough in the final third.

Not vintage from Motherwell, but Allan Campbell's goal gets them a precious win.

Right, straight on to St Mirren v Celtic now! We'll bring you reaction from Rugby Park as we get it.

That was THE chance for Kilmarnock.

Kilmarnock take a short corner, and then Youssouf Mulumbu curls a ball into the six-yard box. Nicke Kabamba gets his head to the ball, but he puts it down the middle and Liam Kelly saves.

    Should have found the corner.

It's backs to the wall stuff for Motherwell now, but they're defending their box well. Three centre-halves on the pitch and they're getting their heads to everything.

Chris Burke balloons a cross into the stands. They've brought on George Oakley as a focal point up front, but the standard of delivery just isn't good enough at the moment.

All fun and games as Tony Watt jumps up and down in front of Chris Burke as he tries to take a throw-in. Burke throws the ball at his head for his cheek.

    Watt goes into the book.

A nice counter attack from Motherwell as Allan Campbell, Christopher Long, and Tony Watt combine, with Watt's outside of the boot shot blocked.

Devante Cole is flagged offside as he tries to pick up the scraps. Motherwell looking much better now.

Two in two for Allan Campbell, a special talent. Albeit, he'd been very quiet up to that point.

GOAL - Kilmarnock 0-1 Motherwellpublished at 71 mins

    Allan Campbell

    Football is cruel, ain't it?

Kilmarnock have been excellent without finding the opener, and it's Motherwell who strike the first blow.

A terrific sliding pass from Tony Watt finds Campbell, whose close-range finish hits the underside of the bar and goes in. Nice one.

The amount of foul shy's in professional football that go unpunished. Obscene.

Anyway, Kilmarnock still in the ascendancy but they're lacking an end product.

Although Kilmarnock have dominated the match and spent the most time in Motherwell's defensive third, they've yet to really carve out a clean cut opening.

What an incredible save by Kilmarnock's Colin Doyle!

A free-kick into the box is flicked on by Ricki Lamie, and Devante Cole stoops to head in, and Doyle flings himself across to palm the ball away. Fantastic save.

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Motherwell

Good defending at the back post by Motherwell as Rory McKenzie's drilled shot is blocked.

Alan Power then surges into the box and flashes a brilliant ball across goal, but there are no takers for Kilmarnock.

    They need a goal here.

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Motherwell

The wiley and experienced duo of Gary Dicker and Alan Power are getting the better of Motherwell's fresh central midfielders Allan Campbell, Robbie Crawford, and Barry Maguire.

    Kilmarnock very much on top.
