    Celtic 1-0 Aberdeen

Odsonne Edouard and David Turnbull have done their work for the night, and on come Patryk Klimala and Mohamed Elyounoussi.

Meanwhile, Ryan Christie lifts an audacious lob onto the roof of the net. Very clever, just not quite cute enough.

  2. Big break for Hamilton and nearly even betterpublished at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2021

    St Mirren 1-1 Hamilton

There was a touch of fortune in Hamilton’s equaliser as Bruce Anderson’s shot looked unlikely to find the net before the deflection took the ball home.

However, all credit to them. They keep fighting and you could sense something might happen. Jim Goodwin certainly did as he was screaming incessantly at his side in the preceding minutes.

Brian Rice's side perhaps should have gone ahead when Marios Ogkmpoe stole in but couldn’t beat Alnwick on goal. A very important finale coming up for a number of interested teams.

Niall McGinn and Callum Hendry are on for Matty Kennedy and Fraser Hornby. The Aberdeen cavalry on.

Aberdeen are pressing for an equaliser.

    Celtic 1-0 Aberdeen

Ryan Christie flung himself in front of Florian Kamberi's strike after a cleverly worked Aberdeen free kick.

The visitors are well in this game, but they need to find their attacking mojo from somewhere.

  5. Postpublished at 19:26 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2021

    Celtic 1-0 Aberdeen

Aberdeen are creeping towards six games without a goal, while their player Bruce Anderson has now scored twice for Hamilton in the same period.

    Bruce Anderson

Accies have been pushing for an equaliser and they've got it.

The ball breaks for Anderson at the edge of the box who strikes towards goal, but his effort takes a wicked deflection off Joe Shaughnessy leaving Jak Alnwick with no chance.

    Celtic 1-0 Aberdeen

Fraser Hornby flicks the ball away from Stephen Welsh and drives a shot from the edge of the box, but it's right down the gullet of the Celtic goalkeeper Scott Bain.

  8. Patience pays off for Buddiespublished at 19:21 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2021

    St Mirren 1-0 Hamilton

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at SMISA Stadium

This looks like another big step forward for St Mirren, with a run of home fixtures ahead they look superbly placed for top six if they seal the points here.

The breakthrough was down to an accurate finish but crucially, patience on the edge of the box from Kyle McAllister. He looked to be crowded out but held the ball until the right option arrived and then fizzed the ball to Ilkay Durmus who found the required direction.

Hamilton will be kicking themselves though. Bruce Anderson had a glorious chance with a free header from 12 yards that might have put his side ahead.

  9. Fragile Celticpublished at 19:19 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2021

    Celtic 1-0 Aberdeen

Celtic haven't been great in this second-half. After an excellent first half hour, they've gone off the boil a bit.

Aberdeen are full of intent, but can't fashion a quality opening. Connor McLennan is brought on for Jonny Hayes.

Celtic's Tom Rogic - Aberdeen's tormentor in chief - is on for Albian Ajeti.

    Celtic 1-0 Aberdeen

Dean Campbell has played pretty well tonight, but that's another shocker. A free-kick in a dangerous position hits the first man.

    Football's cardinal sin.

  11. Postpublished at 19:14 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2021

    Celtic 1-0 Aberdeen

Ooft, if Dean Campbell's touch was better he could have slipped Florian Kamberi clean through.

A chance to fashion something gone for the Dons.

  12. CLOSE!published at 19:11 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2021

    Celtic 1-0 Aberdeen

Great opportunity for David Turnbull to double Celtic's lead! Callum McGregor skips by Ross McCrorie as if he wasn't there, and tees up Turnbull, whose shot is blocked in front of goal by Andrew Considine.

He put it straight down the middle, but probably should have found either corner.

    Ilkay Durmus

Ryan Fulton has been superb all night, but I think he will be disappointed with this one.

Kyle McAllister tees up Durmus on the edge of the box who drills a left-footed strike down towards the far corner. Fulton gets a hand to it, but it isn't enough.

That's a golden opportunity for Hamilton striker Bruce Anderson!

The Aberdeen loanee is free as a bird in the box, but he can't divert his header on target.

Johnny Hayes heads just wide from a free-kick. Positive start to the second period by the visitors.

Aberdeen use this man-marking tactic all the time against the big teams. It only takes one person to go past you, and there is huge space to operate in. You have to win the ball.

I think Kamberi looks the most likely to score for Aberdeen tonight. Dean Campbell's done well too. But for the first half hour or so it was total dominance for Celtic. Aberdeen were playing that man-for-man system that left them exposed.
