  1. goal

GOAL - Bournemouth 0-3 Southamptonpublished at 58 mins

    Nathan Redmond

I'm 90% certain you can celebrate this one (if you're a Southampton fan).

It's given away by Jack Stacey. Nathan Redmond then tees up Stuart Armstrong and he hits it first time. It pings off the left post and comes back to Redmond.

Redmond sets himself then places it into the bottom right corner.

  6. VAR check...published at 13:27 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2021

    Bournemouth 0-3 Southampton

Is there a handball from Che Adams in the build-up? Is Stuart Armstrong offside when he flicks it on?

Southampton have already had one ruled out for offside.

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a poor goal, great finish but a poor goal for Bournemouth to concede. Just a long ball forward and a bit of play on the edge of the box. Bournemouth should be defending better than that, scruffy.

  8. goal

GOAL - Bournemouth 0-3 Southamptonpublished at 53 mins

    Che Adams

    Game over.

It's a brilliant finish. Jan Bednarek plays another lovely ball over the top. Stuart Armstrong wins the header and Che Adams then absolutely smashes it into the far corner.

Really, really good finish from Adams.

  9. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Southampton

Dominic Solanke manages to find Rodrigo Riquelme on the right but his chipped ball into the middle is cleared.

Jack Wilshere then gets in behind on the left and tries to cut it back. It takes three defenders before Kyle Walker-Peters eventually scrambles it clear.

    A good spell from Bournemouth.

    Bournemouth 0-2 Southampton

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Jack Wilshere did really well there - he backed up the play and won the ball and that's a great left-foot strike. Inches wide.

  11. CLOSE!published at 49 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Southampton

Ryan Bertrand dives to head away a cross from the left. It comes to Phillip Billing on the edge of the box and he lays it off to Jack Wilshere.

The former Arsenal midfielder hits it from just outside the box and it ripples the side-netting.

    Much better from Bournemouth!

  12. Postpublished at 48 mins

Dominic Solanke tries to scoop it through to Jack Stacey on the right but Nathan Redmond gets a foot in.

Rodrigo Riquelme is then caught late and wins a free-kick on the touchline.

  19. 'Disappointing goal to give away'published at 13:10 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2021

    HT: Bournemouth 0-2 Southampton

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Bournemouth need to score, straight after half time would be handy. At 2-0 you still have a chance if you get a goal but that was a disappointing goal to give away.

Dominic Solanke had an opportunity which could've made it 1-1 but the game ebbs and flows on people making good decisions and having the quality in the final third.

Nathan Redmond's goal, as much as you can pick holes in Bournemouth's defence, was a great goal.
