    Bournemouth 0-0 Southampton

Ryan Bertrand has a corner at the other end for Southampton but again, it's a poor one.

It ends up coming out to Stuart Armstrong on the edge of the box but he scuffs it too. That's two set-pieces wasted.

  3. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Bournemouth 0-0 Southampton

Dominic Solanke is pretty isolated up front at the moment. Bournemouth are struggling to get a hold of the midfield.

There's a brief bit of space for Solanke here though but he can't find a teammate.

Ben Pearson tries to take advantage of a slip from Kyle Walker-Peters but his touch is heavy and it's back with Southampton.

If it's offside it's offside it's just disappointing when it's that tight. I think they will change things next year but we've just got to get on with it this year.

It's given away a little sloppily by Southampton as Moussa Djenepo is cornered and curls it hopefully to a Bournemouth player in the middle.

  12. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Bournemouth 0-0 Southampton

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Southampton have been such an up and down team, they need one or two better results. Even last year they went on a dreadful run and lost some big games with big numbers against them. They've done the same this year but they've had good runs in between as well so you just don't know what you're going to get from them.

    Bournemouth v Southampton (12:15 GMT)

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenthuttl speaking to BT Sport: "It is big opportunity today for us to go through to the next round.

"We need to have a good game, that's for sure, but it will be a typical cup fight I think. We need to battle for it.

"It is a big target for us this season. We said we wanted to concentrate a little bit more on the FA Cup.

"We have always picked the strongest team for every round so far so that is why we are now in the last eight. We finally have a chance to go to the semi-finals.

"It is an interesting game for both teams. I think we have a chance so this is what we have to grab with both hands."
