  1. The final whistle

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

It's time for us to have a good sleep after a frantic game at Windsor Park.

You can read the report from tonight's game here as Northern Ireland end this run of fixtures unbeaten and with a battling point against a strong Swiss side.

Down but not out. Northern Ireland go again in October with a return trip to Switzerland before a tricky away match in Bulgaria.

That's all for this international window, thanks very much for joining us!

  2. Crowd support was unreal - Bradley

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

There's a big future ahead of this lad...

Quote Message: He [Baraclough] said go and do what you usually do and don't have any fear of what you are going into. He gave me loads of confidence to go and do what I can do. I really enjoyed it and I am thankful to Ian for giving me the chance. I treated it like any other game, whether it is a friendly or a competitive game. I gave away the ball and I wanted to win it back, so I put in that tackle and I got a massive cheer from all the crowd, that was an unreal moment. from Conor Bradley Northern Ireland

  3. Atmosphere was electric - Lavery

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

Quote Message: They are a very good team, they just drew with the European champions. It was disappointing in the end but good thing we have them in the next game so we can put it right. We all fed off the atmosphere that the crowd gave us - it was electric. from Shayne Lavery Northern Ireland striker

  4. Post update

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

Quote Message: We have to go to Geneva with no fear, and then we go to Bulgaria. It's a big month, of course it is, but our away form has been decent and I know teams won't want to see the likes of Shayne Lavery and the pace in our wide areas - there's an excitement there. from Ian Baraclough Northern Ireland manager

  5. Post update

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

Quote Message: With some certain decision making at the right time we could have come away with three points. You can lose a game like that, of course you can, but I wanted to be positive. Yes, we got pushed back and yes, we had spells where we didn't have the ball, but our concentration was very good. When we won the ball we tried to attack with pace and that is a real feature of this group at the moment. We have pace in this team and some old heads who are looking after them. It looks a good squad. from Ian Baraclough Northern Ireland manager

  6. Post update

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

Quote Message: We were very solid. I said after the Lithuania game they came of age, tonight everyone became men. They were resolute, they don't want to be beaten. I look at the seven players who were in my under-21s a couple of years ago and they are now playing senior football. It's brilliant to see for Northern Irish football. from Ian Baraclough Northern Ireland manager

  7. Post update

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

Quote Message: I've had no fear to throw the younger players in because of how they have been in the last camp and this one. Someone like Conor Bradley, who has come of age massively. I had no hesitation in putting him on and that is the measure of what we have coming through. from Ian Baraclough Northern Ireland manager

  8. 'We deserved more tonight'

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

Quote Message: I said to the boys I'm immensely proud of how the boys have conducted themselves over the past 10 days. I felt, for their endeavour, they deserved a bit more tonight. Again, Bailey comes up trumps with a penalty save - I'm not sure it's a penalty. Yes there is an arm there but the guy has thrown himself to the ground. We had our chances, Shayne Lavery was a constant threat and I thought we were positive in all we tried to do. from Ian Baraclough Northern Ireland manager

  9. Post update

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

Let's get some reaction from Windsor Park...

  10. Post update

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

    David Healy

Northern Ireland's record goalscorer on BBC Radio Ulster

Quote Message: In Steven Davis, Ali McCann has the right player alongside him to have a look at and see his attitude and professionalism. He's going to be a big player for us. He's been exceptional for St Johnstone and he now has his chance at Preston.
    Ali McCann
  11. Qualification 'would take a miracle'

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

    John O'Neill

Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

Quote Message: There were a lot of positives from a tremendous Northern Ireland performance. We were missing a lot of players but the players who came in performed brilliantly. I think hopes of qualification have gone now. It may take two or three years but we have the makings of a good side. To qualify from this position would take a miracle but at least we know we have a goalscorer again in Shayne Lavery.
  12. Post update

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

It's also over in Italy and the European champions have run out 5-0 winners over Lithuania.

  13. Post update

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

    Jim Magilton

Former Northern Ireland midfielder on BBC Radio Ulster

Quote Message: Baraclough set his stall out and it was a defensively, brilliant, organised, hard to beat performance - attributes you associate with any Northern Ireland side. We weren't able to play passes and didn't isolate centre halves like we did in the first half. If you don't get the first pass away to start counter attacks you will struggle.
  14. Post update

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

Northern Ireland obviously wanted a win tonight and although they couldn't repeat their excellent first-half performance, it was a really strong display from Ian Baraclough's men.

One point isn't ideal for their qualification hopes, but the most important thing is they've kept their chances alive and they play the Swiss again in their next match in October.

Don't forget, Switzerland knocked World Champions France out of the Euros and were a penalty shootout away from making the semi-finals.

With a depleted side, that was a very positive Northern Ireland performance.

    Conor Bradley
  15. Post update

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

They didn't get the win they were looking for but the Green and White Army show their appreciation after a huge effort against a side ranked 13th in the world.

    Northern Ireland
  16. FULL-TIME

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Switzerland

It's all over at Windsor Park...
