Northern Ireland v Switzerland (19:45 BST)

So why is tonight a must-win for Northern Ireland?

After Northern Ireland's victory over Lithuania, three points would have been enough to take Northern Ireland above tonight's opponents.

However on Sunday Switzerland managed to draw with Italy, who missed a penalty through Jorginho.

While a brilliant result for the Swiss, it took them a point further out of reach for NI ahead of tonight's game.

A big result was always going to be needed, but Switzerland's point against the European champions had upped the ante even more.

Italy are back in action tonight and will look to consolidate their place at the top of Group C, and we'll bring you updates from their game with Lithuania.

Northern Ireland v Switzerland (19:45 BST)

It's time for the big one...

The last time Northern Ireland met Switzerland there was controversy, passion and a spot at the World Cup finals on the line.

The latter two of those things are in the mix this evening, which sets us up for a potential cracker. Effectively, this is a must-win, or at the very worst a must-not-lose, game for Northern Ireland.

Switzerland are three points ahead of Ian Baraclough's men. Victory for the visitors would take them six clear of NI with four to play. However a home win would tie them level on points and the race for a second-place finish, and the play-off spot that comes with that, is very much still on.

And with 16,000 members of the Green and White Army cheering Steven Davis and co on, this could be one of those special nights in south Belfast.

Welcome along and thanks for joining us!
