    England 4-0 Albania

They walk through the Albanian defence. Smashed it in the top corner. It has become a walk in the park and if there was an opportunity to throw the towel in Albania would be doing it now.

The Albania manager is talking to some of his subs - he has already made two and I think he'd want to make nine.

Jack Tanner: Hard to believe this Albania side are third in the group and had a theoretical chance of qualification thirty minutes ago.

Luke: England playing amazing. Imagine what the score would be if the in-form players not Southgates favourite flops were playing. Would be 10-0.

Khan Karn: What a goal by Henderson, he should really be getting more goals with his ability

GOAL - England 4-0 Albaniapublished at 33 mins

    Harry Kane

    It's absolute carnage at Wembley.

Albania give the ball away on the halfway line and are duly punished.

Raheem Sterling has the choice to go himself or pick out Harry Kane, he opts for the latter and the skipper gets his second of the night by lashing a left-footed strike across goal and into the far corner.

Thomas Strakosha will be disappointed by that, it went through him.

  4. CLOSE!published at 32 mins

    England 3-0 Albania

John Stones wants a goal now, trotting up for a corner and flicking a header narrowly over from Manchester City team-mate Phil Foden's delivery.

  5. 'Albania know they are beaten'published at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2021

    England 3-0 Albania

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Albania are all over the place. The shape has gone, the defence has gone, the spirit has gone. They are not even talking to each other now. There are moments in games when you know you are beaten and unfortunately for Albania that is half an hour in.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 31 mins

    England 3-0 Albania

This time Harry Kane is unlucky, working a yard on the edge of the box before a dipping strike is superbly pushed away by Thomas Strakosha.

  7. CLOSE!published at 30 mins

    England 3-0 Albania

It should be four, Harry Kane will be disappointed it isn't.

The skipper is eight yards out but cannot sort out his feet quickly enough and ends up scuffing a shot which is blocked.

An in-form Kane would have banged that in.

  9. 'Composed finish'published at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2021

    England 3-0 Albania

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is wonderful football! Harry Kane repays the favour for Jordan Henderson. Kane's clever feet, round two or three men in the penalty area and then, tell you what for someone who is not normally known for scoring for England that is a very cool finish. Very composed.

GOAL - England 3-0 Albaniapublished at 28 mins

    Jordan Henderson

    Stop it Hendo, stop it!

If this was Lionel Messi we'd be raving about it for the rest of the season. It's a remarkable goal from Jordan Henderson.

The midfielder breaks forward by jinking past Klaus Gjasula and receiving the ball back from Harry Kane.

Henderson has plenty to do but puts two Albania defenders on their backsides before slipping a cool left-footed finish into the far corner of the net.

    Magical stuff.

    They really come to life.

  12. CLOSE!published at 26 mins

A glimmer for Albania on the attack.

Sokol Cikalleshi cutting in from the right but striking a weak shot straight at Jordan Pickford.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 25 mins

Ardian Ismajli the latest into Mr Buquet's book for a shove on Raheem Sterling.

Anyway, back to our man Ruddy Buquet.

That's what you shout when people at home leave stuff lying around in the kitchen.

  16. CLOSE!published at 22 mins

    England 2-0 Albania

Albania are all over the place, they just haven't got going and England are looking to take full advantage.

Raheem Sterling dances through a couple of challenges and into the box but then his run is halted on the byeline.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21 mins

    England 2-0 Albania

Albania are losing their rag now. Sokol Cikalleshi gives a bit of chat to the referee and Ruddy Buquet brandishes a yellow.

    WHAT a name!

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Wembley

Tackles. Goals. Mistakes. It's all happening in a frantic first 20 at Wembley. England double their lead and Jordan Pickford's save from Myrto Uzuni to bail out Kyle Walker takes on even more importance.

  19. Goals galorepublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2021

    The goals are flying in.

Denmark, who are already through as Group F winners, lead the Faroe Islands through a Andreas Skov Olsen goal.

And Northern Ireland are ahead against Lithuania in Group C. They have an own goal from Benas Satkus to thank.

Elsewhere, Hungary have doubled their lead over San Marino in England's group through Daniel Gazdag.

  20. 'He wasn't going to miss'published at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2021

    England 2-0 Albania

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

The only thing that could have worked against Harry Kane there was the amount of time he had to pick his spot. Time stood still for him to head the ball in and in reality he wasn't going to miss that. Albania need to win this game and with 20 minutes gone it is going to be a massive order even to stay with England before half time.
