    Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom

Eberechi Eze drifts past several opponents, bouncing off them and getting the better of Dara O'Shea before forcing a save from Sam Johnstone from the edge of the box.

It's straight at the keeper but Eze created something out of nothing then.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 64 mins

    Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom

First change of the afternoon. Matheus Pereira is replaced by Hal Robson-Kanu.

Matheus Pereira gets in behind on the left and drills it past Cheikhou Kouyate but it's too close to the keeper.

  4. 'Do West Brom have the confidence?'published at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom

    Terry Butcher
Ex-England captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

There's plenty of action in all areas of the pitch. West Brom are getting in good positions, but do they have the confidence to do something? I don't think so.

  5. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom

Matt Phillips puts a really good cross in from the right but Mbaye Diagne doesn't read it.

Vicente Guaita can gather it in easily.

    Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom

Palace are doing well to get bodies in front of these shots. Matt Phillips has another one stopped from the edge of the box before Matheus Pereira fires one just over from a similar position.

Former England and Arsenal defender on Final Score

He's got too much time to think about it. He already sees his name in lights.

He doesn't connect with it as he should.

  8. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom

Conor Townsend pings in a cross from the left and Matt Phillips is completely unmarked on the far side of the box as it flies over Patrick van Aanholt's head.

Phillips goes for the volley and it's miles over. He probably didn't have time to bring it down but that was a chance. Great ball in!

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 53 mins

    Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom

Eberechi Eze comes in clumsily on Dara O'Shea and he's got a yellow for it.

  10. 'Benteke looks good'published at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom

    Terry Butcher
Ex-England captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

Christian Benteke looks good. If you're playing with players like Eberechi Eze, Wilfried Zaha and Jordan Ayew, they'll give you chances to score. It's a good front four. I think West Brom have handled them well.

  11. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom

Ainsley Maitland-Niles does well on the left to beat Joel Ward and keep the ball in play.

Cheikhou Kouyate comes across to block the initial cross but it eventually comes in to Matt Phillips who goes down in the box as he loses his footing. Conor Gallagher picks up the loose ball but it's blocked by Jairo Riedewald

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 48 mins

    Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom

Sam Johnstone gets his fingertips to this effort from Christian Benteke to push it over the bar and it's a great save.

Nice work from Eberechi Eze in the build-up to squeeze it through to Benteke, who touch one touch to control it before fizzing it towards goal with his left foot.

    Dion Dublin
Former Man Utd striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder is set to leave his role after almost five years in charge (more here).

It's cutting off your nose to spite your face. If you're looking for a new manager, you're looking for someone who knows and loves the club - that's Chris Wilder. He is the embodiment of Sheffield United.

Whoever comes in is under severe pressure, first and foremost.

22 of Luka Milivojevic's 28 Premier League goals have been penalties (79%), the highest ratio of any player with at least 25 goals in the competition.

His 22 penalty goals is the most of any player in the Premier League since his debut in Feb 2017.

Palace have now converted each of their last 16 Premier League penalties. Milivojevic took 13 of those 16 penalties.

HT: Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom

    Terry Butcher
Ex-England captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

A good game, good skill level, good competition - it's very strongly fought-for. West Brom can feel unlucky that they're going in 1-0 down. It's a definite penalty, but from open play they've been strong. It will be a concern to Roy Hodgson that they will pose more of a threat in the second half.

Last attack of the half from Palace? Jordan Ayew and Wilfried Zaha both try unsuccessfully to squeeze a cross in from the right but Conor Gallagher is back there with Dara O'Shea to mop up.
