You set your stall out and Mikel Arteta has to be firm now. He is not going to move, if he does he is at risk of losing the dressing room. You never change your philosophy, stick with who you are and your principles.

You are captain of the football club, you cannot sulk, you have to bounce back from it. You have to go out and lead because that's your job at the football club.

I was at the game on Thursday and I thought that for someone who's the captain who has been dropped, you'd lead from the front and run.

For me, he didn't look interested. I was really surprised and a little disappointed with his reaction.

As a captain you lead from the front. He didn't really do that on Thursday.

Arsenal skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was dropped for Sunday's win over Tottenham for a "breach of pre-match protocol", but is back in the Gunners' starting XI today having also featured against Olympiakos in midweek.

Aubameyang was scheduled to start at Emirates Stadium but was dropped to the bench in favour of Alexandre Lacazette, with Mikel Arteta blaming "a disciplinary issue".

"We have a process that we have to respect for every game and that's it," he said.

All seems to have been forgotten, as he leads the line this afternoon.
