Scotland still sit 11th in Uefa's rankings, a spot that would likely earn a direct place in the 2022-23 Champions League group stage for next season's Premiership winners.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard also finds time to praise 19-year-old Nathan Patterson and goalkeeper Allan McGregor, who has 20 years on the ruddy cheeked full-back.
"What you’ve got to take into consideration is everyone connected to the club has had a real emotional week, so with what they gave the game in terms of effort and application, I’m so proud of the players," he says.
"Nathan epitomised that, I thought he was really strong, he became a man tonight I think, and there will be plenty more appearances for him, for us moving forward, after his suspension is done. Really pleased for him.
"Allan, again, we needed to call on at a really important time to make a world-class save."

On his side's sluggish start, Rangers manager Steven Gerrard adds: "I think we waited a bit too much, I think that partly on me. Sometimes you want to get a feel for an opposition and see how the game settles in the opening period, but I think we were guilty of waiting for the opposition, a little bit second-best in the opening period.
"So, we tweaked it, we went two up front, and one number 10 behind two, and I thought that gave us that opportunity to play down the sides of their centre-backs.
"We felt that they’ve got some weaknesses we spotted tonight and some vulnerabilities and we want to be a little bit more positive next week to exploit them."

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard tells BT Sport a draw was "fair" after a much-improved second half from his team.
"This is a difficult place to come, we’re playing against a really powerful, strong team and they play with a real high intensity," he says.
"I think that shocked us a little bit at the beginning, not in terms of our preparation, because we knew it was coming, but I think after the week we’ve had, they certainly came out of the blocks quicker. They scored a wonderful goal. Sometimes you’ve got to put your hand up and say you’ve been done by a wonderful goal.
"But I think once we settled into the game, we did more than enough to get back into it, and then I think we more than matched them from that point to the end. I think it’s a fair result over the 90 minutes and the tie is finely balanced now."

Nathan Patterson endured a few sticky moments in the first half - and he wasn't the only Rangers player.
However, the teenage full-back really came on in the second half, getting forward a couple of times and making one very important tackle inside his own penalty area.

Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor, talking to BT Sport: "Time will tell, I'll tell you next Thursday if we're happy with it (the result).
"We have the belief but we're up against a good side so it will be difficult. But we go into every game at this club wanting to win it."
McGregor is typically low key when asked about his late wonder-save.
He says: "It's just one of those things, you react to it and hope it doesn't go in. Happy days."

Rangers are now unbeaten in 10 Europa League matches this season and that is largely thanks to a quite astonishing save at the death from Allan McGregor.
Lukas Masopust must have thought his powerful header had won the game but the veteran keeper somehow kept it out - and held on!
