Speaking to BBC Sportsound, Hibernian manager Jack Ross: "I thought first half we did well to hang into the game but we showed character to going behind and second half I thought we were excellent. At this stage of the season, against a tough opponent away from home and the other results today, it's another step forward for us.

"I felt we did enough to win the game but given the results elsewhere it's a point gained rather than two lost.

"Ryan's [Porteous] mistake was poor but it happens. What's key is your reaction to that and I thought he was excellent in the second half."

Ross County manager John Hughes tells BBC Scotland: "That's the worst we've been, there's no point in sugar coating it. But they hung in there, that's the only credit I could give them. We were second best all over the pitch.

"Had we got anything it would have been an injustice on St Johnstone.

"I've asked the players to show courage to keep this team in the Premiership."

St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin is understandably crestfallen after that late equaliser cost his side a place in the top half of the table.

"Second half, Hamilton pinned us back and we couldn't get out," he tells BBC Sportsound. "We looked very nervy at moments, but we still had a couple of opportunities to put the game to bed.

"With the way everyone is feeling, it's not the right time to start analysing where we went wrong but having watched the goal back I can see we are not set up properly from the free-kick. I think the free-kick itself is just ridiculous. If you're going to give fouls for centre-halves competing, you may as well stop the game now.

"Up until that point, I don't think Jak Alnwick has had a save to make.

"The season is not over, we still have a lot to play for. Seventh has to be our target, and a run in the Scottish Cup, but right now it's very difficult to think about anything else other than the sheer disappointment. The players are devastated."

Speaking to BBC Sportsound Livingston manager David Martindale: "We're a little bit disappointed, I thought we dominated the first half and played some good football so we were disappointed to go in at 1-1."

"We had created enough chances in the first half to go in at least a goal up if not two. On reflection over the whole of the 90 minutes I think a draw is probably a fair reflection."

"I'm delighted for wee Sibbs [Craig Sibbald] he's been shunted abou the park for us but I thought he was excellent today and deserved his goal."

"Hopefully we get Aberdeen at home during the split. It's a fantastic opportunity for us to chase fourth place and it will motivate the players going into these final games."

Dundee United captain Mark Reynolds tells BBC Sportsound: "We felt as though the last couple of games we've been building towards something really good.

"We topped it off with a great goal. We were close to top six but we are still a team in transition. We are have a lot of players still adjusting to life in the Scottish Premiership."

On the decision to stand rather than take the knee before kick-off: "We felt as though the knee was becoming a gesture. We felt we wanted to show solidarity with Glen Kamara.

"As a Scottish team we want to show we stand with him and want something done at a higher level. There are things than transcend what club you play for or who you support."

Motherwell manager Graham Alexander tells BBC Scotland: "I didn't feel we were at it.

"We did well to get back into the game but we didn't start in any great fashion. The goals that we conceded were extremely soft. It's a sore one for us.

"Unfortunately we've been found wanting again, against a team below us again and it's something that we have to address."

With five post-split games to go, it promises to be an almighty scrap between Ross County, Kilmarnock and Hamilton to avoid the trapdoor to relegation.

Kilmarnock manager Tommy Wright tells BBC Scotland: "I'm really pleased for the players and supporters. We've had to wait a long time for a victory.

"It was important that we won today, it was important we gave ourselves a chance to stay in this league. We showed a lot of quality and a lot of character to win the game.

"That's what we brought Kyle Lafferty in for. He gives us that bit of quality at the top end of the pitch. He's a real presence up there. We all know if you get the ball to him, he can score goals."

Lifting the League Cup and clinching a top-six place in his first season in management? Not a bad start to life in the dugout for Callum Davidson.

St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson tells BBC Sportsound: "We played on the front foot and dominated most of the game. We had three glorious chances to score before we did and it got a bit nerve-racking. Once the news came through it was 1-1 (at Hamilton), it got a big edgy.

"We were bottom of the league at one point but the lads have been terrific since the end of December. The players deserve this, they've worked unbelievably hard and have been a credit."

St Johnstone have timed that run to perfection, sneaking into the top six for the first time since September.

They edge out St Mirren for a top-six place by two goals, with both on 40 points.

Callum Davidson's men are in fine form for the season run-in, having lost just two of their last 14 matches, those defeats coming against top-two Rangers and Celtic.

Hibs extend their lead in third over Aberdeen to seven points courtesy of Christian Doige's first-half equaliser.

Craig Sibbald had given Livingston the lead as he pounced on a poor headed back-pass from Ryan Porteous.

It was a classic tale of two halves, Livingston having the better of the first, Hibs the second. Both sides will be happy with a point with results elsewhere going their way.
