    Who else!

It's a brilliant cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was left out of the England squad this week.

He curls it in beautifully for Diogo Jota, who just nods it in from close range.

Jota was doing that during the international break for Portugal too! What an impact.

Reindeer Hotdog: Why is Firmino starting games ahead of Jota? He looks too far off the pace and just isn't creative enough. Jota is in form and a dynamic, explosive player - qualities lacking in this Liverpool squad right now. He's a potential game changer - why isn't he starting?

Seth Gogo Egoeh: If Arteta had learned under Mourinho before setting up his team like this in the big games, it would have been understandable! This begs the question, what did he learn from Pep Guardiola at City?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang feeds it through to Cedric Soares. He cuts inside and whips it towards goal. Alisson deals with it.

James Milner has moved to that left-back position.

Diogo Jota is on for Andy Robertson. He doesn't look injured. An interesting move by Jurgen Klopp. James Milner to left-back?

Joe: The quality in this game is what you expect from two mid-table sides.

Arsenal press high on the right and it pays off. They move it around nicely to the left but Calum Chambers' cross is blocked when it comes back over to the other side.

Mohamed Elneny is getting ready to come on for Arsenal.

Liverpool have Arsenal penned back again. Mikel Arteta needs to find a solution here because it is hard to see Arsenal surviving if they simply sit back inviting pressure.

    Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool

It's settled into a similar rhythm. Liverpool have had the ball for a few minutes and Arsenal have dropped back.

Mohamed Salah ends up playing an accidental one-two off Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before it goes out to the right.

Trent Alexander-Arnold drills it in low, back to Salah, but his first touch lets him down.

    Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool

Trent Alexander-Arnold curls a long one towards Sadio Mane but Rob Holding puts his foot through it.

Mane then faffs around with it in the middle and is almost caught out by Dani Ceballos. He wins a free-kick in the end.

Thomas Partey wins it in the middle but Martin Odegaard has to go back. Arsenal have started by moving it around a bit quicker.

Paul Collins: Hands up, on a day where Chelsea, Leeds, Leicester, Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool also played who had West Brom to be the highest scorers of the day? I doubt anyone did!!

Naim Rahman: This is such a bad performance so far. I don't get how our senior players aren't attacking at all. They're almost a combined 200m and not showing it at all. Cannot rely on the kids and no excuses about Saka and ESR being absent.

Arsenal have won just one of their last five PL home games when 0-0 at half time - beating Newcastle (3-0) in January (D2 L2).

Liverpool's last 12 matches at half-time in all competitions: eight times 0-0, three times leading 1-0, one time trailing 1-0.

I'd just like to apologise to everyone for teeing this game up by saying it had the most goals of any other Premier League meeting and, I quote, "so hopefully we get lots of goals".

Stephen: Will we see the Arsenal that played against West Ham? Seriously, has there been more of a team at either end of the spectrum this season than Arsenal?

Eamonn McGurk: We're *really* missing Xhaka as the pivot in midfield!

Anthony Rayment: Arsenal have been really poor. But how many times this season have we seen Liverpool play like this then lose 1-0?
