Liverpool have Arsenal penned back again. Mikel Arteta needs to find a solution here because it is hard to see Arsenal surviving if they simply sit back inviting pressure.

It's settled into a similar rhythm. Liverpool have had the ball for a few minutes and Arsenal have dropped back.

Mohamed Salah ends up playing an accidental one-two off Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before it goes out to the right.

Trent Alexander-Arnold drills it in low, back to Salah, but his first touch lets him down.

Trent Alexander-Arnold curls a long one towards Sadio Mane but Rob Holding puts his foot through it.

Mane then faffs around with it in the middle and is almost caught out by Dani Ceballos. He wins a free-kick in the end.

Thomas Partey wins it in the middle but Martin Odegaard has to go back. Arsenal have started by moving it around a bit quicker.

Paul Collins: Hands up, on a day where Chelsea, Leeds, Leicester, Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool also played who had West Brom to be the highest scorers of the day? I doubt anyone did!!

Naim Rahman: This is such a bad performance so far. I don't get how our senior players aren't attacking at all. They're almost a combined 200m and not showing it at all. Cannot rely on the kids and no excuses about Saka and ESR being absent.
