Andy Robertson hasn't found his range yet. Sadio Mane, who definitely has started sharply, lays it off to him on the left but he sends a wild cross straight out for a goal kick.

Roberto Firmino reaches the byline a few moments later. He cuts it back, Trent Alexander-Arnold doesn't quite get there but Fabinho follows up. His shot is wide.

Daniel Cheng: Gonna miss Saka's trickiness and pace today but hopefully Pepe can step up.

Roberto Firmino does really well on the right, flicking the ball from one foot to another to keep the ball, before squeezing in a cross.

It's half-cleared to James Milner on the edge but he drags the shot wide of the far post.

Ozan Kabak plays it long for Andy Robertson but it bounces out of play.

Arsenal are pressing high on the two Liverpool centre-backs.

Good early signs from Liverpool's Sadio Mane as he poses a couple of early threats. Looking very sharp.

Arsenal have had some neat moments of possession but no real chances for either side yet.

Thomas Partey gives it away loosely in midfield seconds after winning it back off Roberto Firmino.

Sadio Mane brings the long ball down and tries to slide in Andy Robertson but the left-back has drifted offside.

Martin Odegaard sprays it over to Kieran Tierney. Arsenal are patient and come back around again, before Gabriel skews it out wide.

Sadio Mane then tries to link up with Roberto Firmino but it hits the back of his heel.

Manchester City

Fabinho comes in hastily on Alexandre Lacazette and gives away a foul.

Liverpool win the ball back a few seconds afterwards though - Mohamed Salah winning a throw-in on the far side.

Thomas Stockting: Form is utterly irrelevant today. The game will be won by the hungrier side. Auba needs to show he wants it and work his socks off, same for Pepe. Never thought I would say that Xhaka is a more reliable option but, Ceballos, no mistakes today big man.
