Third-placed Brentford have fallen 10 points behind an automatic promotion spot after a run of just three victories in 10 games, but they do have two games in hand on second-placed Watford.

Despite their chequered form Thomas Frank's side have lost just one of their last 16 home league games, with Ivan Toney scoring 14 goals in his past 17 matches at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Birmingham, meanwhile, have picked up a couple wins under new boss Lee Bowyer but though they are six points above the drop zone, third-bottom Rotherham have three games in hand on them.

The Blues are unbeaten in their past five league games against the Bees.
