That's a great hit. A brilliant strike from Kent. That's what he's capable of. No chance for Marciano.

    Ryan Kent

A cracking goal from Ryan Kent as he races inside from the right, leaving Joe Newell and Alex Gogic trailing in his wake, before slamming a fierce shot into the corner of the net from 22 yards.

  4. Postpublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

Joe Aribo does well to cut the ball back for Nathan Patterson to have a shot from the edge of the penalty box but the Rangers full-back scoops his first-time effort high over the top.

  5. Postpublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

Rangers winger Ryan Kent goes for a dart into the Hibs penalty box but Ryan Porteous is alive to the dangers and calmly clears his lines.

  6. Postpublished at 16:14 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

Connor Goldson is up for a free kick but he gets the timing wrong, looping a header over the top. The Rangers defender then gets in a tangle with Paul Hanlon and aggressively slams the Hibs captain to the floor. There's a bit of scuffling but it's a classic case of 'handbags'.

  7. Teen stars subdued so farpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

The much-anticipated duel between Nathan Patterson and Josh Doig hasn't really materialised, with both teenagers quiet so far.

Most of Hibs play is coming down the right as they look to get Martin Boyle involved.

  8. Postpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

Ryan Porteous gets a bit of a hospital pass from goalie Ofir Marciano but the big Hibs centre-half shows some impressive close control to dribble his way out of a spot of bother in his own penalty box.

  9. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

Here we go again for the second half.

  10. Sometimes it snows in Aprilpublished at 16:02 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    HT: Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

With the sun shining and Rangers playing with control but not exactly busting a gut, there is something of an end-of-season feel to things at Ibrox.

Apart from the odd flurry of snow, that is...

  11. Rangers coasting?published at 15:57 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    HT: Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

Steven Gerrard will be happy with a lead to protect but I suspect the manager will want a bit more urgency from Rangers in the second half.

It's all been a bit easy-oasy and they have got away with a couple of lapses of concentration at the back.

  12. 'Hibs will be encouraged'published at 15:52 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

Hibs have played some good football. They've not had clear-cut chances but they'll be encouraged.

  13. HALF-TIME Rangers 1-0 Hibernianpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

The champions lead thanks to a nicely taken goal from Joe Aribo.

It was one of only two shots on target from Rangers, who have not really hit their stride.

Hibs are working hard and had a spell of decent pressure there just before the half-time whistle.

  14. Postpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

Hibs are emboldened as the half-time break approaches and some slack play from Borna Barisic allows Kevin Nisbet to cut into the penalty area from the right. However, his attempted pass to Christian Doidge is cut out by goalkeeper Allan McGregor.

  15. Postpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

From that questionable corner, Hibs win another.

The ball seems to be falling perfectly for Paul Hanlon but the Hibs skipper just doesn't attack it enough and he can't get anything on it from close range.

  16. Wrong choice from Boyle?published at 15:45 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

    Michael Stewart
Former Scotland midfielder on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Hibs are breaking well, but I think Boyle could've slipped Nisbet in there.

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:44 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

Another shot sliding narrowly past the post for Hibs - this time it's a raking effort from Martin Boyle.

A corner is given, which looks rather generous since Allan McGregor didn't appear to get anything on it.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:41 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

Much better from Hibs as they send Kevin Nisbet scurrying forward and the striker opts to hit it early, with his powerful shot whizzing just wide from around 25 yards.

  19. Postpublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

Rangers are really beginning to boss the ball the now, with Hibs struggling to hold on to it for more than a few passes.

  20. 'Not a penalty, not a dive'published at 15:31 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

    Michael Stewart
Former Scotland midfielder on BBC Sportsound

When I first saw it I didn't think it was a booking. It wasn't a penalty but it doesn't have to be a dive.
