    Wolves v Burnley (12:00 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

Burnley have lost their past three league games and have dropped to fourth bottom of the table, but I don't think they will go down.

The Clarets have not been playing too badly during that time - they came close to getting a point at Old Trafford last weekend and held the lead in their previous two matches.

Even a draw would be a big result for Sean Dyche's side in their situation, but I actually think they will do better than that at Molineux. They will be fighting for their lives while Wolves, who are safely in mid-table, won't be.

    Prediction: 1-2

  2. Any drama left?published at 11:18 British Summer Time 25 April 2021

    Wolves v Burnley (12:00 BST)

There are few things a proper football fan loves more than the drama-filled, nerve-shredding, winner-takes-all anxiety-fest of a late season relegation showdown.

Sadly, this season is shaping up to be something of a let down for such things. For a long time, it looked like the last-day game between Fulham and Newcastle was going to be the one. But the latter's upturn in form has pretty much put pay to that.

What we're left with is the slim prospect of a game on the 10 May between Burnley and Fulham that may provide the goods.

However, if Burnley win their game in hand on the Cottagers today to go nine points ahead of them, that'll likely be the end of it.

    Nice to see Neves back.

Other than that, those are two XIs that you could have predicted almost to a man before they were announced.

  4. Team news - Neves back for Wolvespublished at 11:09 British Summer Time 25 April 2021

    Wolves v Burnley (12:00 BST)

One change for Wolves, which sees Ruben Neves return to the side following his positive Covid-19 test.

He replaces Joao Moutinho in midfield.

Other than that it is the same XI that beat Sheffield United.

Wolves: Rui Patricio, Saiss, Coady, Boly, Nelson Semedo, Neves, Dendoncker, Ait Nouri, Traore, Daniel Podence, Willian Jose.

Subs: Hoever, Silva, Gibbs-White, Vitinha, Ruddy, Richards, Kilman, Otasowie, Corbeanu.

    Burnley make two changes.

The most significant sees Nick Pope return in goal, taking the place of Bailey Peacock-Farrell, who played in the 3-1 loss at Manchester United.

The other change sees Matej Vydra come in for Joihan Berg Gudmundsson.

Burnley: Pope, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Brownhill, Westwood, Cork, McNeil, Vydra, Wood.

Subs: Gudmundsson, Barnes, Peacock-Farrell, Stephens, Rodriguez, Pieters, Norris, Bardsley, Dunne.

Sadly, we're going to have to wait a little longer before we see any supporters in football stadiums in this country. And who knows when we're going to have full stadiums erupting in joy again?

We'll just have to make the best of it in the mean time, starting with today, which offers up plenty of intrigue, the potential for fireworks and the possibility for a bit of drama.
