    Away from League Two and Liverpool have accomplished what appeared to be an impossible mission and qualified for the Champions League.

    The Reds beat Crystal Palace 2-0 and finish third in the top flight, with Leicester missing out on the Champions League after a 4-2 loss at home to Tottenham.

    Chelsea finish fourth despite a 2-1 loss at Aston Villa.

    Newport go into today's second leg with a 2-0 advantage after Tuesday's first game.

    The Exiles took the lead on 31 minutes when Matt Dolan hammered home a stunning left-footed effort from 25 yards that flew into the net.

    Lewis Collins doubled the advantage after the break with a cool finish.

    Morecambe await this evening's winners for the right for the final place in League One next season.

    Derek Adams' side drew 1-1 with Tranmere Rovers earlier today, going through 3-2 on aggregate.

    Should Forest Green make it we would be guaranteed a new side in the third tier as neither side have played beyond.

    Newport have not played in what is now League One since 1987, two years before they went bankrupt and were forced to re-form in non-league football.
