It's a lovely early evening in Munich, with half of the pitch in sun and half in shade.

You can sense a bit of nervousness among both sets of players because another goal - especially for Chelsea - would change this tie massively.

That's a huge opportunity missed for Chelsea.

It's a lovely set-piece headed back across goal for Pernille Harder, who can't get a firm strike away and Bayern keeper Laura Benkarth is able to get her hands on the ball.

Chelsea lose the ball in midfield and Bayern's Lineth Beerensteyn drives forward more than 40 yards, but Millie Bright does well to stop her getting a shot off.

Moments later Klara Buhl strikes just over for the home side, who look lively.

They're back under way in Germany.

The first-half goals came from a mistake and a stroke of luck - let's hope the quality of both sides really comes to the fore in this second half.

Barcelona forward Jennifer Hermoso scored but then went off injured as her side drew with Paris St-Germain.

Hermoso headed Barcelona ahead in the first half but later come off with her ankle heavily strapped and could be a doubt for next weekend's second leg.

PSG, who beat the holders Lyon in the quarter-finals on away goals, equalised when defender Alana Cook headed in.

Chelsea will hope to face the winners of that tie in the final.

While we take a breather, let's take a look at what happened in the other Champions League semi-final first leg - played earlier this afternoon...

They go in all square at the break in Germany.

Sydney Lohmann gave Bayern the lead after a rare error from keeper Ann-Katrin Berger.

But Chelsea roared back thanks to Melanie Leupolz - who knew nothing about her goal as the ball was struck at her face and in.

This first leg is finely poised.

The Bayern defending isn't convincing but they manage to scramble the ball clear.

We're a minute into two minutes of added time at the end of the first half.

Chelsea have a corner.

The German hosts are getting some joy down the flanks and Chelsea have to stop some of these crosses coming in.

Lineth Beerensteyn gets her head to one of the crosses but the ball goes harmlessly wide.

Chelsea goalscorer Melanie Leupolz has a nosebleed after taking a ball to the face, so play is halted for the time being.

The Germany midfielder will be fine to continue though.

Bayern right-back Hanna Glas once again has time to put in a cross but this time Chelsea keeper Ann-Katrin Berger is more like her usual self, catching the ball comfortably.

There's not too much to separate these sides.

Chelsea aren't afraid to put some heavy tackles in.

This time Melanie Leupolz is late on a Bayern midfielder but avoids a yellow card.

Chelsea do have a free-kick in a decent position as Guro Reiten is brought down.

Chelsea's Pernille Harder is the first player to be booked after a late challenge in the middle of the park.

That's a massive tackle from Bayern's Marina Hegering to stop Sam Kerr getting a shot away.

It's great movement from Kerr in the first place to get to a through ball, but the defending was strong.

We have a real game on our hands now.

Chelsea's Fran Kirby finds Pernille Harder with a lovely backheel and the Denmark forward curls just wide.

The English side have their tails up after that leveller.

Chelsea are trying to settle back into their passing rhythm now.

I reckon Bayern will be happy to play on the counter attack, especially with the lead they have.

Remember any Chelsea breakthrough would also be a vital away goal to bring back to London for the second leg next Sunday.
