Some broadcasters sitting behind me are trying to make sense of Pep Guardiola's formation today - good luck with that.
Out of possession it seems to be 5-1-3-1. With the ball, more like 3-3-3-1.... but it's hard to be sure - everyone is so fluid. Raheem Sterling is doing a lot of tracking back and, up front, Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus are alternating as the player leading the line.
Man City 0-0 Chelsea
To head off the potential argument that will come from that Sterling challenge. I think I'm safe saying that other players have had red cards shown via a VAR review for dangerous challenges not too dissimilar to that.
I don't want players sent off. All you ask for is consistency.
Man City 0-0 Chelsea
The Chelsea free-kick is straight into the wall. Danger over.
Man City 0-0 Chelsea
Werner is down and rolling about in pain.
Oh, there's good reason too. Sterling has his studs up and catches the forward on the ankle.
It's a yellow card for Sterling and a free-kick to Chelsea on the edge of the box.
I'm pretty sure there will be people out there who think Sterling could have got a red for that.

Michael Chivala: Technically, both teams can actually afford to lose today. Neither will want to but I can’t see either pushing for a win, risking losing or injuries. Result will be down to desire of fringe players make an impression. Draw written all over this. 1-1.
Man City 0-0 Chelsea
Chelsea in containment mode early on here. That is until the always alert Kante wins the ball and gets them further up the pitch.
Man City 0-0 Chelsea
City the more proactive.
Jesus has a shot blocked from the edge of the box before Mendy follows up with an angled drive that flies past the far post.
Expect to see Cancelo and Mendy getting far forward in this City system. Like Pep's full-backs are deep-sitting in any game!
Man City 0-0 Chelsea
Boom tisch. Nailed it, Cameron. You're here all week, right?
Both teams continue to feel each other out. Ake charges forward into Chelsea territory, but his attempted through-ball is cut out.

Would've thought the Queen was a Palace fan...
Cameron, London
Man City 0-0 Chelsea
First attack is from the home side as Ferran Torres gets goal-side of the Chelsea defence down the right but his shot is wild and into the stand.
Man City 0-0 Chelsea
Contrary to the team setup we have on this live page, I can assure you that Sergio Aguero is not playing on the left side of midfield.
Beyonce a Sunderland fan?!
Yeah, I can see it now, her growing up with Niall Quinn and Michael Gray posters all over her walls.

Fabio Ribeiro: LeBron James - Liverpool; Lewis Hamilton - Arsenal; Paul McCartney - Everton; Beyonce - Sunderland, apparently?
Man City 0-0 Chelsea
One team wants the title today, the other is after a top-four spot.
Just your average Premier League encounter then.
We are under way.

It's difficult to second guess Guardiola's team selection but I'd expect Tuchel to pick a strong side. Chelsea are still fighting for fourth place - to make sure they are in the Champions League next year, as well as trying to win it this season.
Tuchel's side fully deserved their win over City at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-final last month but a stronger City line-up should come out on top at Etihad Stadium.
Prediction: 2-0

The Queen may well be a Gooner, but her eldest son and future King is a Burnley fan. None of your metropolitan elite rubbish for Charles - he's a Claret through & through.
Ray
So the Queen is a Gooner, Charles supports Burnley and William is for the Villa? Eclectic.
Anyway, enough of that, the teams are on their way out...

Blue is the colour in the stands and on the pitch - in different shades as City and Chelsea warm up - but the skies above Etihad Stadium are grey and menacing.
It's been pouring down in Manchester most of Saturday already, and from the look of the forecast (and the clouds) it looks like there is more to come.
That's bad news for the hundreds of City fans outside the stadium - they packed their flags, fireworks and flares but I don't think many have brought umbrellas.
