The change will mean a bit of a reshuffle for West ham but I think Jarrod Bowen was a bit unfortunate to find himself out of the team anyway.

Only Bruno Fernandes (25), Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane (30 each) have scored more Premier League goals since Carlo Ancelotti took charge of Everton than Dominic Calvert-Lewin (24).

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 41 mins

    West Ham 0-1 Everton

Nothing is going for West Ham and now they are being forced into an early change. Jarrod Bowen is receiving instructions as he gets ready to come on for Manuel Lanzini who has taken a knock.

Benrahma has probably got too much time to take the header. It's an acute angle and he looks to play it across goal. The direction is spot on but he got the height wrong, just too much on it.

  8. CLOSE!published at 38 mins

    West Ham 0-1 Everton

A BIG chance for West Ham.

Pablo Fornals swings in a lovely cross and Said Benrahma is in a great position to meet it but somehow puts it over the bar with his head.

That had to be on target at least.

  9. Postpublished at 35 mins

    West Ham 0-1 Everton

Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored his 16th goal in the Premier League this season with Everton's first shot in the match. He is also the first Everton player to score more than 20 goals in a season in all competitions since Lukaku in 2016-17.

  10. CLOSE!published at 33 mins

    West Ham 0-1 Everton

Everton are finding pockets of space behind the West Ham defence. Lukasz Fabianski is well placed to keep out Richarlison after Calvert-Lewin's flick.

    West Ham 0-1 Everton

Are Everton the most frustrating team in the Premier League to watch? If they played like this every week they'd be in a much better position to finish in the top four.

Tom Davies is dicing with danger. He's already had a lecture for one challenge when he goes steaming in on Said Benrahma.

It's a good save, that was a perfect position for Sigurdsson to get it up and over the wall. It just didn't have enough pace on it to beat Fabianski and he was able to get across and push it away.

  13. CLOSE!published at 28 mins

    West Ham 0-1 Everton

This has really come to life after a quiet start.

Set-piece specialist Gylfi Sigurdsson is standing over another free-kick within scoring range and Fabianski is forced to tip it over.

Everton are really up for this.

Now, how will West Ham respond?

Said Benrahma has a shot deflected into the side netting before Antonio is shoved by Michael Keane in the box.

The Hammers want a penalty. Nothing. David Moyes is not happy.

It's a really good pass through from Godfrey for Calvert-Lewin and he just outruns Craig Dawson and gets in behind.

He does really well, sees where Fabianski is, stays really cool and aims for that bottom corner. Great finish.

    Dominic Calvert-Lewin

    That's a brilliantly executed finish.

What a pass by Ben Godfrey and Dominic Calvert-Lewin gets the better of Craig Dawson before drilling low and hard past Lukasz Fabianski.

That was such a confident finish.

That's a really good ball in from Antonio, I just don't think Lingard had the belief that it was going to reach him as it went through a crowd of players. Otherwise it would have been a tap-in from 10 yards.

No attempts from either side. Nothing at all.

Everton launch a decent attack before it rolls out wide for Lucas Digne who gives it straight to a West Ham shirt. The Hammers counter and Antonio almost finds Lingard inside the box.
