  1. Montrose and Forfar in dangerpublished at 15:58 British Summer Time 1 May 2021

    Scottish League 1

It's stalemate in the two games affecting the promotion play-off places.

But Montrose will miss out if they fail to turn their draw away to Falkirk into a victory, leaving the hosts, Cove and Airdrieonians confirmed in the semi-finals.

At the bottom, though, Forfar are going down because of their draw away to Peterhead and second-bottom Clyde's lead over Dumbarton.

The Bully Wee would leapfrog the visitors and out of the relegation play-off place if it stays like that.

HT: Dundee United 0-2 Ross County

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Tannadice Park

Ross County appear to be on course to give their Premiership survival hopes a huge boost.

They have a comfortable lead at the break and could be even further in front after a first half they have totally dominated.

United have looked a shadow of the side that thumped Aberdeen last time out. Perhaps their players have next week's Scottish Cup semi-final with Hibs on their minds.

  3. HALF-TIME St Mirren 0-1 Hamilton Academicalpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 1 May 2021

Ross Callachan has given Hamilton the lead at St Mirren in their battle to beat the drop.

It's been an even 45 minutes in Paisley, but the midfielder's goal from close range could be so pivotal in their battle to escape relegation.

The bad news, though, for Brian Rice's side is that Ross County are also winning.

  4. HALF-TIME Livingston 0-0 Aberdeenpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 1 May 2021

Both teams have had opportunities to take the lead, but neither side have found their shooting boots so far.

Aberdeen have had most of the sporadic chances with Callum Hendry and Lewis Ferguson forcing saves from Max Stryjek early on.

Matej Poplantik fired wide when well placed for the home side's best moment of the half.

The biggest talking point will be Connor McLennan's lucky red card escape after he kicked out at Craig Sibbald after a tussle for the ball.

  5. HALF-TIME Hibernian 0-1 St Johnstonepublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 1 May 2021

Glenn Middleton's first St Johnstone goal has the visitors ahead after a horrible blunder from Ryan Porteous.

Martin Boyle came close to an equaliser but Hibs have lacked punch in attack, with Saints defending diligently.

  7. HALF-TIME Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 1 May 2021

Not a great deal to report from Fir Park.

Motherwell started with great confidence, but are yet to actually test Danny Rogers in the Kilmarnock goal. Just before the break Jake Hastie went down in the box but Brandon Haunstrup got plenty of the ball and no penalty was given.

Killie grew into the game as the half went on but are yet to get striker Kyle Lafferty into the match.

Here's hoping for a better second half.

  8. HALF-TIME Dundee United 0-2 Ross Countypublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 1 May 2021

Goals from Jordan White and Alex Iacovitti has John Hughes' men in control at Tannadice after a superb first-half showing.

Any win for the Highlanders will be crucial but with Hamilton currently 1-0 up in Paisley, three points would be absolutely vital.

Remarkably, this is the 16th time this season County have taken the lead in a league game but they have only won eight of those. Staggies fans will be praying today is number nine.

However, the Slovenian striker can't find the target as his shot trickles wide.

As Aberdeen go on the attack there was an off-the-ball scuffle between Connor McLennan and Craig Sibbald.

The former is lucky one of the officials didn't spot the incident as replays show the Aberdeen winger kicking out at his opponent.

Both players get a yellow and we play on.

Another good chance for the away side as Niall McGinn drives down the right-hand side before crossing to the back post.

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 1 May 2021

    Alex Iacovitti

The visitors double their advantage and they more than deserve it.
