It has flattened a little bit, but overall I think Ole Gunnar Solskjær will be happy with his team's first-half performance.

Greenwood has looked hungry, energetic and intelligent.

Hopefully there's a place for him at Manchester United.

Stuart Eccles: Greenwood has to be in with a shout as a wildcard for the Euros, the lad is fearless and super talented, worth a gamble.

Jonny Guckian: Giving Eric Bailly a new contract instead of going all out on a new CB is likely to be up there with new contacts for Phil Jones, Andreas Pereira and Ashley Young. Has moments but just doesn’t have the composure to be a quality #mufc, external player.

Karl: Amad looks sharp tonight. Very promising talent he is, hope he gets the full 90 tonight.

Van de Beek has been caught a couple of times in possession.

But the second time he reacted really well and got the ball back for his team. That's all you can do when it's not going so well - keep having the confidence to get back on the ball.

And that's the break. All square.

It's Youri Tielemans who hits it, and also hits the wall.

Amad Diallo is the latest player to commit a foul as he catches Wilfred Ndidi and this is a good chance for Leicester, about 30 yards out. Kelechi Iheanacho might fancy it...

This game is being played in heavy rain, which is making the pitch very quick.

That has aided the one-touch passing that has been prevalant, although there has been an absence of chances as this opening period comes to a close.

Foul after foul at the moment. Both sides could do with settling down a touch.

Slight moment of panic in the Manchester United backline as David de Gea comes out and fails to gather the loose ball with Axel Tuanzebe running back towards him, but the defender got a shove from Jamie Vardy and that's what caused the mini chaos. Free-kick.

It's getting a bit scrappy... Mason Greenwood is on the end of another foul from Wilfred Ndidi on the halfway line. Brendan Rodgers probably won't mind that too much.

This time Tielemans does get a free-kick as Matic plunders into the back of the Foxes midfielder following a neat turn.

We haven't seen too much of Kelechi Iheanacho so far but he drops deep to collect the ball on the half-turn and find Marc Albrighton on the right, only for his cross to be easily cut out.

That's good tracking back from Anthony Elanga, pinching the ball off Youri Tielemans 30 yards from the United goal, though Leicester think they should have had a free-kick.

The hosts turn defence into attack with a direct ball over the top that is looking for Mason Greenwood, but Çaglar Söyüncü sweeps across well.

Speaking to those inside United, they all say Mason Greenwood is such a natural finisher. He just needs that run of games in a side that create opportunities.

As he gets that little older and a little wiser, he's going to be a real one to watch.

We've had two goals from just two shots so far. If you don't buy a ticket and all that... might as well just have a dig, lads.

Jamie Vardy almost latches on to an underhit back pass but David de Gea is quickly off his line to hoof clear.

Manchester United come flying forward down their right before Brandon Williams checks back inside and the Foxes can regroup, getting blue shirts behind the ball.

Nearly for Leicester... did Youri Tielemans mean that?

He almost catches David de Gea with what looks like an attempted cross and the United goalkeeper has to tip it over the crossbar. It was heading for the top corner.

It's a chance for the Manchester United youngsters this evening, but also for those fringes players who haven't featured so often this season - the likes of Juan Mata and Donny van de Beek.

Leicester really started this game well but United have grown in confidence since their goal.

Here goes Mason Greenwood again, he's almost playing this game on his own at the moment, bursting into the Leicester half with a driving run.

He can't pick out Juan Mata though and Kasper Schmeichel gratefully gobbles up the loose ball.

Greenwood is growing in confidence - little flicks, little Cruyff turns, showboating.

It's great to see young players playing with that confidence, and it's knocked Leicester City out of their stride.

Man U are starting to get a foothold in the game.
