    England 4-0 North Macedonia

Here comes Sweet Caroline. The fans got the goal they wanted and are loving every minute of this.

I'll say it quietly but it sounds pretty good with the England Band getting involved too, actually.

It was only a matter of time. It's been one-way traffic since the start of the second half. Ellen White doesn't miss many penalties at all.

The goalkeeper guesses the right way, but Ellen White converts her penalty, stroking it into the bottom right corner as cool as you likem.

That's the Manchester City forward's second goal of the night and her 41st Lionesses goal overall.

  4. PENALTYpublished at 66 mins

    England 3-0 North Macedonia

Leah Williamson is clipped right on the edge of the box and the referee points to the spot.

There's no VAR here and that looked close, but the decision stands. Ellen White will take the spot-kick.

A nice bit of build-up play from the Lionesses results in Georgia Stanway shooting across the face of goal, but goalkeeper Suarta Dervishi clears with her feet.

Nikita Parris is being prepared to come on. That's the last thing these North Macedonia defenders will want!

Ella Toone is stopped in her tracks as the whistle blows for a foul on Natasha Andonova. It looks like Leah Williamson caught the Macedonian captain's toe and she's down in a fair bit of pain.

The crowd at St. Mary's weren't happy with play being stopped there as England looked to create another chance.

It's good to see Alex Greenwood getting forward. North Macedonia have only the one forward up top, so there is no need for the four defenders to stay back. She is stepping in and carrying the ball, which she does so well.

Alex Greenwood is hungry for a goal. She plays a quick one two with Beth Mead before letting one fly from distance again. This one sails over the centre of the goal, but it's a good effort.

Alex Greenwood looks up before deciding to take the shot on goal herself. She aims for the top left corner, but it's well wide in the end.

    England 3-0 North Macedonia

England start the second half as they ended the first.

It's another brilliant delivery from Rachel Daly and Lauren Hemp gets a head on it. That was going in, but Sara Kolarovska heads against her own crossbar to put it behind for a corner, not that she knew much about it.

I hope England keep up the intensity. It's difficult when you play against teams that don't press and give you time on the ball - it becomes easy to drop your standards.

England have enjoyed most of the possession as we expected them to. They have been creative and there has been a lot of fluid movement up top. Going forward they have looked dangerous, but the one downside is the amount of chances created and only converting the three.

But it is a positive start and I expect we will see some changes now. And as North Macedonia start to tire in the second half there will be more goals, I'm sure.

How good was Beth Mead in the first half?

The Arsenal star said she has used the"disappointment" of missing out on a place in Team GB's squad for this summer's Olympics as motivation for this season.

    England 3-0 North Macedonia

That's probably a fair scoreline at the break, but North Macedonia will feel hard done by with those two late goals.

England dominated from start to finish and should have scored more.

It's a beautiful ball into the danger zone. The goalkeeper goes for it, but wasn't confident and completely missed the ball. Her defender has just placed it into the net - passed it in.

It was a teasing ball, but if a keeper comes there they have to claim it.
