What a delivery by Alex Greenwood. It was driven in but at the same time floated, right onto Beth England's head.

She's had lots of opportunities, lots of practice this evening and she'll be relieved to get the goal tonight.

Beth Mead is not done yet. She forces Alina Sklemenova to make a diving save to her left. She does well to palm it away from danger.

Rob: Should've given it to the 'keeper, give the poor woman something to do! If it's not absolutely freezing there I'd imagine she's having a nice kip in the six-yard box.

    Jess Carter

Another first! Jess Carter opens her account for England.

Georgia Stanway provides her fifth assist of the night.

The corner from Beth Mead is short to Stanway on the edge of the area, they then trade passes before Stanway creates some room to run and slide a a low pass to the near post, where Carter coolly turns home from close range.

Ellen White passed the ball onto Georgia Stanway to take that. She's got her hat-trick. If she hadn't got her hat-trick, I don't think she would have given that up...

10-0, what a scoreline. That was a fantastically taken penalty by Stanway. The keeper didn't have a chance.

    HT: England 8-0 Latvia

    Lindsay Johnson
Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

It could have been one of those games where England struggled and Latvia got bodies behind the ball, but the intensity and pace of this England team has been great.

The movement off the ball, the quality on the ball, the deliveries into the box have been top quality.

Richard: It's 8-0. At half-time. Against a team that'll tire in the second half. This is absurd. 20 is genuinely plausible in an official World Cup qualifier.

    HT: England 8-0 Latvia

Trying to take a moment to reflect on that devastating first-half performance from England.

Of course, Ellen White is the headliner as she breaks England's scoring record, but Beth Mead scored a 23-minute hat-trick and provided one assist while Georgia Stanway teed up four of the eight goals.

It's been terrific stuff from the Lionesses, but Latvia have been incredibly poor.
