  2. HALF-TIME Hamilton 0-2 Kilmarnockpublished at 12:46 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

Kilmarnock are doing all they can to avoid the play-off thanks to a double from Mitch Pinnock.

The first was a close-range finish from Ross Millen's cross, and the second was a composed one-on-one finish after a swift counter.

Job done so far. Though they were 2-0 up the other night against St Mirren and threw it away...

    Mitch Pinnock

Kilmarnock have the cushion they craved.

It's a swift break as Greg Kiltie wins the ball in the Hamilton half, and Alan Power picks it up and drives forward before slipping in Pinnock, who rolls in his second of the afternoon.

It looks as though it's all down to Ross County now. Killie cruising.

  4. CLOSE!published at 12:41 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Hamilton 0-1 Kilmarnock

Mitch Pinnock goes very close to a second for Kilmarnock. Chris Burke picks up the scraps from a cross into the box and rolls the ball into the path of his team-mate, but Pinnock's hit is deflected just wide by a Hamilton defender.

    St Mirren 0-0 Dundee United

Another great chance for Dundee United and it falls for Lawrence Shankland.

A wonderful cross into the box by left-back Jamie Robson finds the United striker six yards out, but his header is straight at the grateful Jak Alnwick.

    Motherwell 1-0 Ross County

It's quietened down significantly at Fir Park after the goal and early chances.

Ross County need to score as it currently stands, but it doesn't look like a goal is coming any time soon.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:30 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    St Mirren 0-0 Dundee United

A one-on-one opportunity for Eamonn Brophy.

The ball gets flicked on into the St Mirren striker's path and he just has Ross Doohan to beat, but he takes too many touches and the United keeper is able to get a hand to the ball and scupper the chance.

  8. CLOSE!published at 12:28 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    St Mirren 0-0 Dundee United

United should be ahead. Ian Harkes drives forward and the ball gets pulled back by Louis Appere towards Lawrence Shankland. His effort looks destined for the goal but Marcus Fraser produces a tremendous block to stop the visitors taking the lead.

  9. Postpublished at 12:26 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Hamilton 0-1 Kilmarnock

Hamilton have come back into the game slightly, but are yet to fashion a clear chance.

Lewis Smith did well to work an opening in the box, but Zeno Ibsen Rossi blocked his effort.

    Motherwell 1-0 Ross County

From a Ross County corner kick, a header is on target but hits off the visitors' Keith Watson, who essentially clears the ball off the line. Not the sort of luck County need if they are to get out of the play-off spot, although it looks like an offside flag was up.

    St Mirren 0-0 Dundee United

There's relatively little on the line in Paisley, but Dundee United have started the brighter.

The visitors have just had the first real effort of the match, as Logan Chalmers' left-footed effort is blocked after neat link-up play with Lawrence Shankland. The resulting corner is headed wide.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:14 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

Huge chance for Ross County to level. The ball falls kindly to Jordan White, but the big striker is leaning back and his fierce efforts skims the top of the crossbar.

    Motherwell v Ross County (12:00)

Ross County manager John Hughes: "We still have plenty work to do.

"I see football as simple. You have all the tools in your locker. They won't let you down. What it is about is mental toughness. Your mental toughness has to prevail and make sure the pressure doesn't get in the way of all the stuff you have done since you were six years old.

"To win a game of football you need to express yourself and take a chance. When it's in your hands, it has to inspire you."
