I love watching good football. Barcelona are a very, very good team.

Women's football is moving on so quickly and Chelsea couldn't catch them.

Barcelona win the Champions League, the first time in their history they are Europe's best, and the first Spanish team to win it too.

Chelsea met a pink and turquoise whirlwind tonight. Well and truly outgunned.

Asisat Oshoala thinks she's got a fifth. But she was offside and it wasn't til she touched it that the flag went up.

Denied. Chelsea were opened up there, tired and drained.

The first goal was shaky; to lose the second goal was a killer.

It's the realisation in the back of your head that says 'we need to do something superhuman now'. It was a slippery slope after that.

Barca's substitutes and non-playing personnel have already been handed out 'Champions' shirts for the post-match celebrations.

The celebrations will begin in earnest very shortly. It's Barca's first Champions League title too, after their 2019 disappointment.

Two minutes of added time/torment for Chelsea.

During Barcelona's preparations for this match, they've obviously looked at Chelsea's domestic form and how Kirby and Kerr link up and how they were going to stifle that.

I think the tactics in the first half did not see the best of Fran Kirby. It's been frustrating that we haven't seen their partnership.

Chelsea have banged on the door in a bid to give themselves something to cheer tonight, but Barcelona have always just had them at arms length.

This has to go down as the perfect performance. Did the damage first half and showed defensive steel and cool poise in the second.

Emma Hayes won't hide anything, but she will honestly say that losing a goal that early rattled her team.

But she won't say they should have won it, because Barcelona were so much better.

Guro Reiten goes at the Barcelona defence down the left and gets into the box, but her cushioned cross pings off the head of Beth England and behind.

Chelsea have looked sharper since Ruiten came on at the break.

I think it comes down to the performance on the night. I think tactically, Chelsea were at fault in the first half.

Chelsea haven't played direct tonight really, but one big lump forward almost produces a chance from the second-ball.

Again, the ball just won't drop.

Pernille Harder slashes a half-volley over from the edge of the box, and it's another addition to her catalogue of forgettable finishes tonight.

Such a danger normally.

Mark Burt: This result should no way reflect on Emma Hayes. Chelsea have a top class coach and eventually the team will catch up with her. They’re simply playing a much better team tonight.

Barcelona got a free-kick but it was fairly disappointing fare from Marta Leon. Straight into the hands of Ann-Katrin Berger.

Chelsea are tired, they really are. It's been the complete performance from Barcelona, they were lightning in the first half.

Barcelona just tapping the ball around, almost teasing Chelsea in matador-esque manner.

Chelsea are under pressure as the Blaugrana press forward, and Sophie Ingle can only shank the ball behind.

Emma Hayes is deep in dialogue on the bench. The corner is slugged away.

I do want to underline the improved performance on the Chelsea players.

You can see what a good team they are, it's just a shame we didn't see that in the first half.

Chelsea zip the angles about with passes but the last ball, looking to release the wide Niamh Charles, is overhit and lets Barcelona off.

The Catalans have been pretty note-perfect and play the ball out from the back, it looks hairy for a moment but the Blues cannot break this teak-tough defence.

This will hurt. They were on for the quadruple. This was the big one, the one they really wanted.

This Chelsea side will have to regroup and think 'how can we do better?'.

I'm proud of the way Chelsea have played in this second half. They could have folded but they haven't, they've been the better team.

Asisat Oshoala is surely offside as she's played through for Barcelona after coming on but the flag stays down and it takes a sliding effort from Niamh Charles to deny her a shot on goal.

The Blues have restored a bit of pride.
