While Chelsea fans will be feeling pretty glum, there has to be an acceptance that Barcelona have been pretty special.

There were only four players from the 2019 final for Barcelona who aren't at the club, so the battle-hardened side have certainly learned their lesson.

Two years after being 4-0 down to Lyon in their previous Champions League final, Barca are 4-0 up this evening.

It might be one to put in the memory bank for the Blues, but in some respects, they might be able to come out without pressure in the second-half, without expectation. Can they spring a surprise or two to make this a contest?

Barcelona from the get-go were right into Chelsea and after a goal of fortune from Melanie Leupolz turning into her own net, they took total control.

The penalty award was a little controversial, as Alexis Putellas stepped up for a second goal from the spot, and Aitana Bonmati and Caroline Hansen Graham strikes put the Blaugrana in absolute control.

Time to turn it round for the Blues. But Chelsea have been blown away.

Ji bends it over the wall but Sandra Panos gets on her bike and scuttles across goal to make a comfortable save. Barca stay unbreached.

If there is any crumb of encouragement for Chelsea, it's that Barcelona are happy to let them have possession.

Fran Kirby is lopped down on the edge of the box for a free-kick. Great opportunity this.

Loose ball falls to Ji but the South Korean is isolated out on the right and as the defence swoops in, she commits the foul.

There are just catalogues of errors defensively for Chelsea.

Ji, one of the most talented players in the WSL, I've never seen her give the ball away as much as this.

Chelsea finally work the ball through the lines, and Pernille Harder is picked out on the left.

The Dane darts to the box, cuts inside and flashes a near-post shot which Sandra Panos does well to get down to.

Another chance, they have had some, but Barca still look comfortable.

Glimmer of a chance for Chelsea, as Ji pops a ball over the top which Sam Kerr races after and with Sandra Panos caught in two minds, the Australia goes for the chip but can't guide it on target.

Chelsea will have to draw on the experience of their Bayern Munich semi-final if they are to fight their way back into this game.

They have an X-factor forward line in Pernille Harder, Sam Kerr and Fran Kirby, but that attacking triumvirate are battling in the face of suffocating defence.
