    Arsenal v Brighton (16:45 GMT)

There is more Women's FA Cup semi-final action to come on the BBC today.

Former England defender Laura Bassett shared her thoughts about Arsenal's tie with Brighton.

"Arsenal know they have huge tradition in this competition, but five years without lifting it, it’s going to hurt," she said.

"Right now they’re scoring so many goals, they’re a pleasure to watch.

"Brighton are playing really well, they beat Chelsea last year. Against those big teams they step up and perform.

"Hope Powell will have a solid game plan."

Chelsea manager Emma Hayes told BBC One:

"I love the FA Cup. It is such a great competition to be in. I love being at Wembley and can't wait to play whomever we face in the final."

On the chance of completing a domestic treble for the 2020-21 season: "I'm here to win. The whole team is here to win. That's our big value at the club. When you win things, you get used to it and want more of it."

  7. 'Our mentality was superb'published at 14:58 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

    FT: Man City 0-3 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Emma Hayes told BBC One:

"That is one of my favourite performance because it is hard after the international break. We had a lot of players travelling all over the world. This is a squad game and we had to pick a team that would do the first part and the rest would come from the bench.

"I thought our mentality was superb. Our pressing, our counter pressing, how we created chances so, so efficient."

Did she expect more from Manchester City? "Their injury issues have been well highlighted. I think these games after international breaks are always a little flat. I thought the game in the second half petered out a little. The job was done and it was just about keeping a clean sheet."

  8. 'We gave away sloppy goals'published at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

    FT: Man City 0-3 Chelsea

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Gareth Taylor told BBC One:

"I thought we started well in the first 20 minutes. Then we gave away some sloppy, cheap goals and we were up against it.

"I thought we could have created a bit more around the box. Like I say, when you give away two goals in the first half it's already going to be difficult, especially against a side like Chelsea.

"I'm fine with pressure, it is what it is. My thought process is the next game.

"It's disappointing, we're out in the semi-final and haven't retained the trophy.

"Obviously there's circumstances around it with our injuries, but I'm still disappointed."

  9. 'We all wanted to get to Wembley'published at 14:51 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

    FT: Man City 0-3 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea goalscorer Erin Cuthbert told BBC One:

"It's always tough when you come up to City, we really showed our character, our hunger as a team.

"We all just wanted to get to Wembley so we're really happy.

"These games are never straight forward, but if you have a clean sheet that's the start of something.

"We'll be watching the other semi-final on the way home, but to be honest the next game's Villa [in the league] we have to park the cup final now."

Man City are in a difficult moment.

Because of their league form and this result now, there's not that much to play for.

They'll have to pick themselves up very quickly. They'll still want to get themselves into a Champions League spot in the league, which they can do.
