The question at half-time is "what will Gareth Taylor do to turn things around for Manchester City?"

Well, it is worth a reminder that the injury-ravaged Cup holders have managed to name just five players on the bench today. Taylor is certainly short of options if he wants to change things up.

The goals have knocked the stuffing out of City.

They look like they're already beaten. They need to get on the ball more because that's the only way they're getting back into this game.

Grey skies at Academy Stadium and things are looking bleak for City.

Goalkeeper Karima Taieb, who should’ve done better with the second goal, has made a save to deny WSL top goalscorer Sam Kerr Chelsea’s third and then also a point-blank stop to frustrate Fran Kirby.

Remember, City are not blessed with options as they could only name five substitutes, including a 16-year-old goalkeeper, compared to nine players on the Chelsea bench.
