    Quote Message

It has been an entertaining first half and credit to both sets of players for serving up decent fare given the pressure that is on the game. There have been no sustained periods of pressure by either team but there have been some good chances and it is all to play for.

Oran Kearney will be much the happier manager at the break.

After falling behind early on, Coleraine have come back strongly and very much have the momentum going into half-time.

Shayne Lavery has simply not got going for Linfield. He threatened to get in behind the home defence a few times in the opening stages, but other than that the Bannsiders have marshalled him well

Jamie Glackin has been full of running for Coleraine, as usual, and is causing Linfield problems with his rangy style on the ball.

A draw does the Blues of course, while the Bannsiders need a win to keep their title dreams alive.

All to play for. And by all we mean the league title.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Coleraine 1-1 Linfield

Honours even at the interval and as it stands Linfield are on track to make it three league titles in four seasons.

Both goals have come from headers, Mark Haughey nudging Linfield in front and Curtis Allen equalising.

  7. goal

GOALpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Ballymena United 1-0 Warrenpoint Town

Ballymena go in front through Shay McCartan eight minutes before the break.

Trai Hume marauds down the right flank and although Ryan Waide can't get a clean strike on his low cross, the ball falls nicely for McCartan to steer home his 20th goal of the season.

Could be an important strike in the context of European play-off places.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:21 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Coleraine 1-1 Linfield

Marty Gallagher produces a fine double save to deny Linfield in added time at the end of the first half.

First, the Coleraine stopper pushed away Cameron Palmer's rifled shot, then Gallagher distinguishes himself again by saving on the line after Joel Cooper slid in and delivered a low left-foot drive.

    Super keeping from Gallagher.

  9. CLOSE!published at 20:18 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Coleraine 1-1 Linfield

Coleraine squander a gilt-edged chance to go ahead and it is Curtis Allen who is the culprit once again.

McLaughlin back-heels to Glackin who finds Allen with his cross but the forward's header is wide of the target.

  10. goal

GOALpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Portadown 1-0 Dungannon Swifts

Adam Salley gives Portadown the lead on 28 minutes.

Lee Bonis' cross from the right is headed back across goal by Greg Hall and Salley sidefoots an effort past Roy Carroll.

  11. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Cliftonville 1-0 Crusaders

Daire O'Connor finds Michael McCrudden with a clever through ball.

McCrudden tucks it away with aplomb, but the linesman had already raised his flag.

Crusaders breathe a sigh of relief.

  12. Well, well, wellpublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Coleraine 1-1 Linfield

    Mark Sterling
BBC Sport NI at Coleraine Showgrounds

That Curtis Allen goal has got the home fans singing - and added a new dramatic twist to this title tussle.

What a passing move it was, too, in the build-up to the goal, with Lyndon Kane's excellent deep cross finished well by Allen.

Linfield fully deserved all the plaudits that came their way for their cup final performance, but they have been well short of those heights so far tonight.

The Blues could even be happy to get in at half-time at 1-1 here.

  13. goal

GOALpublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Coleraine 1-1 Linfield

    Game on!

Curtis Allen draws Coleraine level in the 36th minute with a perfectly placed glancing header from Lyndon Kane's cross from the right.

Allen found space between two defenders and atoned for his miss just minutes earlier by planting the ball in the bottom corner. No mistake from the striker.

  15. What a chance!published at 20:05 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Carrick Rangers 1-0 Glenavon

Danny Purkis should have fired Glenavon level!

The striker gets in behind the Carrick defence and evades Aaron Hogg only to drive his effort into the side-netting with Matthew Fitzpatrick well-placed in the middle.

Eventful opening 20 minutes at Taylors Avenue.

  16. Postpublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Larne 0-0 Glentoran

We're still waiting for this one to spark into life.

Dale Gorman, whose eyes light up like a child at Christmas when there's a free-kick within 40 yards of the opposition goal, tries his luck from range but he smashes it into the wall.

    You can't fault his optimism.

  17. CLOSE!published at 20:05 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Coleraine 0-1 Linfield

Curtis Allen passes up a great opportunity to level just after the half hour mark.

Jamie Glackin and James McLaughlin put together some neat build-up play to set Allen through on goal but the striker's left-foot effort loops over the bar.

A missed chance Coleraine may come to regret.

GOALpublished at 19:59 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Carrick Rangers 1-0 Glenavon

A twist in the race for seventh as Carrick take the lead at Taylors Avenue!

Kyle Cherry threads a dead-eyed through ball into Lee Chapman, who produces a composed finish, firing the ball underneath Craig Hyland to give the home side the edge.

Glenavon's night just got a whole lot more complicated.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:58 British Summer Time 25 May 2021

    Ballymena United 0-0 Warrenpoint Town

Shay McCartan has scored some crackers for Ballymena this season and he comes close to adding another to his showreel with a great free kick which is arrowing towards the top corner before Warrenpoint keeper Andy Coleman springs across his goal to acrobatically turn it away.
