I just hope that Tiernan takes time to appreciate, and I mean that in the right sense of the word, and enjoy what he and his players, staff and club have done. Well done Tiernan Lynch.

    Fingers crossed it's possible.

    Larne 3-1 Cliftonville

What a brilliant game to end the season on, that was fantastic.

Cliftonville gave it everything and put in a more than creditable display, but Larne had enough in the tank to pull themselves over the line.

McDaid the clear man of the match for me, but a number of excellent performances on both sides.

"We're on our waayyyyyy, we're on our waayyyyyy..."

The Larne fans are in party mode as the minutes tick down.

Cliftonville aren't quite waving the white flag yet though, as Michael McCrudden takes a glorious touch on the chest before volleying but it's wonderfully saved by Conor Mitchell.

That save stopped what would have been an unbelievably tense finale.

David Jeffrey will give us his man of the match shortly, a good money bet is David McDaid.

The striker has been sensational and nearly finds himself a hat-trick. He spins Jamie Harney and gets into the box, but his effort goes over with Aaron McCarey advancing.

Is that the goal that sends Larne into Europe?

    That man McDaid again.

More than a touch of good fortune about this one but they all count exactly the same.

Mark Randall wins a 50/50 and slides a low cross into the box, Aaron McCarey looks favourite to gather it but the ball deflects off Jamie Harney's leg to spin past McCarey and right to the toes of McDaid, who just taps it in.

What about this build-up? Lee Lynch restored Larne's lead just a few minutes after the relinquished it.

If this were a popular video game, Paddy McLaughlin would have gone to tactics and selected ultra-attacking.

Michael McCrudden enters the fray with a quarter of an hour left. Goalscorer Daire O'Connor has taken a knock and is the man to come off.

Magnificent block from Jamie Harney to keep his side in this game.

Jeff Hughes skips through a challenge and plays in David McDaid, who looks a good bet to score as he bears down on goal.

In comes Harney to stretch out a leg and divert McDaid's shot behind.

A minute later Martin Donnelly has a glorious chance as he's found on the penalty spot, but he places his effort over.

Joe Gormley is on for the Reds (who are playing in yellow), and they'll need him to make an impact here with Larne (who are playing in red) in command.

The camera pans to Joe Gormley, who is getting ready to come on.

It has been a frustrating season for the club's record goalscorer. But with about 20 minutes to go and in need of a goal, is there anyone else Cliftonville fans would rather see come on?

Scratch that, Larne have their lead back!

Lee Lynch scores at the back post, but David McDaid oh my goodness, what he has just done is outrageous.

A long ball is played to McDaid, who *backheels it* on the bounce to John Herron who plays it back to McDaid.

The strikers slides a perfect ball across the face of goal and there's Lynch to finish after a lung-busting run to get there.

    Brilliant goal, brilliant game.

What a strike! That's an absolute belter and two goalkeepers would not have stopped that. It's deserved for Cliftonville after their start to the second half.

    Daire O'Connor, take a bow!

I need to know what was said during Paddy McLaughlin's half-time team talk, feel like we all need to hear it.

Cliftonville have been on fire since the restart and O'Connor has them level through a stunner.

Takes a touch out of his feet, running across field and launches an effort with his weak foot that arrows into the right-hand corner from all of 30 yards.

Here, penalties would be quite fun wouldn't they?

Sule is on, and off comes Ronan Hale... that's a surprising call, right?

40 minutes still to go and off comes the forward, he does a bit of a double take after seeing his number up on the board, as do the rest of us.

Sule is some operator of course, but positionally that's a very unexpected switch.

    Larne 1-0 Cliftonville

Cliftonville want a penalty here for a handball by Albert Watson. From the replay, it's really, really tight. It maybe does come off his arm from Kris Lowe's driven effort but it's so close to his body, it would have been pretty harsh.

Tiernan Lynch doesn't like the way the tide is moving in this half so takes action, bringing on Fuad Sule who was something of an unexpected absentee from the starting side.

Whatever Paddy McLaughlin's message to his players at half-time was, it resonated with them.

Daire O'Connor tries his luck from an angle at distance and he catches it really well, forcing a strong low save from Conor Mitchell.

Cliftonville are getting forward in numbers now, this is some start to the second half.
