That is brilliant football, but it is poor from Arsenal, they are not getting anywhere near anybody.

Mason Mount picks the right ball to Reece James, who has started this game really well and it is a great finish.

This has the feel of when a cat toys with a mouse, giving it that little bit of hope that escape is still possible. At 1-0 Arsenal are still in it, but the away side are so much stronger.

To make matters worse for the Gunners, Pablo Mari goes into the book for a late tackle on Romelu Lukaku. He's had a torrid first-half.

The goal has knocked the stuffing out of Arsenal. They started ever so well, the fans were behind them.

It has gone a bit quiet now but the players need to give the fans something to cheer about.

"Shooooot!" yell the home fans. Albert Sambi Lokonga obliges but fires his effort from range over the bar.

Chelsea just look so composed and in control. For all the hopeful noise an Arsenal attack generates, the Blues aren't fazed.

Over comes Marcos Alonso, or outsteps Antonio Rudiger and the ball is back under their spell.

That early noise that was swirling around the Emirates has largely gone. All you can hear now are the chants of the pocket of Chelsea fans.

Mikel Arteta is up and waving his arms about. Concerned? You better believe it.

Saka wasn't positive enough. It was good defending from Azpilicueta but Saka didn't move the ball quick enough.

This could get messy very quickly. Chelsea sweep forward and Arsenal are all over the shop. Reece James cuts inside and looks like shooting before playing a short ball that is behind Mason Mount, meaning his shot lacks power and is blocked.

Poor touch!

Bukayo Saka is released wide left by Nicolas Pepe and has just Cesar Azpilicueta to beat before he can unleash a shot, but a heavy contact on the ball gives the Chelsea man the opportunity he needs to stick out a boot and fluff out the danger.
