Leicester could be in front with the chances they have had. It's been a decent game played at a decent tempo. I think the players are getting a lot in terms of preparation for the new season.

The conditions are helping. You see this game so often played in blistering heat with a hard, dry pitch. But this is a fast, slick pitch and there is some decent football being played. I'm really enjoying the game so far.

Former Leicester forward Emile Heskey is on ITV and thinks Pep will definitely send on Jack Grealish to lift City.

That Leicester chance came after another sloppy pass by City who have not really got going.

Decent match but everything still to play for at the break.

Leicester almost take the lead on the stroke of half-time!

Jamie Vardy latches on to a pass on the edge of the six yard area and hooks it towards the net but Zack Steffen does really well to touch it on to a post.

Vardy cannot believe he has not scored.

I just don't see a foul there. Both players were fairly trying to compete for the ball. Palmer's elbow is slightly high and catches Bertrand, but you have to elevate your arms to jump high.

Pep Guardiola, who is sporting a white T-shirt, is having a strong word in the ear of the fourth official.

He's not happy after an aerial challenge between Cole Palmer and Ryan Bertrand. The free-kick goes in favour of the experienced Leicester player.

Has Guardiola been booked? He's been told to go and sit back down.

Fernandinho tries to thread a through ball to put Samuel Edozie in the clear but it's over cooked by the City midfielder.

How much purpose has Harvey Barnes got about his game? He has started with such intensity. The ball turns over and he has one thing on his mind. He is so direct and aggressive with his decision-making, it's great to see him back at full fitness.

A one-two inside the City box and Harvey Barnes is about to pull the trigger when it's nicked off him by Nathan Ake. Leicester win a corner.

Darren Imrie: Edozie looks young enough to be a skateboarder in the Olympics.

Great to see two teams going flat out in the Community Shield.

Both are fully committed and burning loads of energy.
