I was expecting to see the net ripple. Anything away from the goalkeeper was hitting the back of the net.

Harvey Barnes has been so bright on the left, cutting inside onto his right foot. So much energy, movement, one-twos. He's causing real problems for Manchester City.

A few of the Manchester City players don't yet seem on the same wavelength. When you consider Leicester have Soyuncu playing alongside Amatey at the back, they haven't really got at those two at all.

Another lovely sweeping move from the Foxes.

Youri Tielemans and Ayoze Perez are causing problems before Jamie Vardy has a snap shot from about eight yards out. It hits Zack Steffen and bounces clear. The City keeper didn't know too much about that.

All the noise is coming from the Leicester end. They're giving City a proper test. Two attempts - one on target - and a Harvey Barnes in decent nick.

Rachel T: Jack Grealish must be sick of the sight of the subs' bench at Wembley.

Riyad Mahrez is just starting to purr against his old club.

Leicester respond through Harvey Barnes who digs out a low, powerful shot from outside the box which has Zack Steffen down scrambling it behind.

Great defending by Çaglar Soyuncu to cut out Benjamin Mendy's cross. City have a corner. It's half cleared to Riyad Mahrez who takes a swing...and it's horribly wide. It's greeted with a huge cheer by Leicester's fans.

I know on paper Harvey Barnes is playing left wing-back but he is actually playing the left of a front three. He's dropping back at moments, but that's the area they have to look out for as he is so far forward. That must be an area where Manchester City will look to attack.

This is pretty competitive for a glorified friendly.

City's defence have a job getting the corner clear. Ryan Bertrand, Wilfred Ndidi and Harvey Barnes are all looking sharp.

I've missed watching Harvey Barnes. He got a really bad injury last season when he was in great form, but he looks to be in good condition. He has started the game very brightly.

City win a free-kick about 25 yards out and Ilkay Gundogan fancies his chances.

He bends it over the wall and it's heading for the top corner when Kasper Schmeichel - who is at full stretch - tips it over his bar.

Really good to see Harvey Barnes back after his serious injury last season. He already looks like a player eager to make up for lost time.
