Jannik Vestergaard tries to get on the end of Marc Albrighton's cross but he goes down under pressure from Jack Grealish.

    Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Manchester United have to win today. Newcastle will be thinking if we come into this game and work really hard we might nick a draw here.

  3. CLOSE!published at 15:30 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle

The big guns are involved but the hosts are still not able to break the deadlock.

Cristiano Ronaldo feeds Bruno Fernandes who has a pop from 25 yards out.

Jadon Sancho sticks his foot out at it, diverts it towards goal but Freddie Woodman fingertips it wide of the post.

The referee didn't spot the save as he gives a goal kick.

  4. Postpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Brentford 0-0 Brighton

All a bit frantic here. Brighton unable to find a way through into the Brentford box from a central position because of sheer weight of numbers of home players. Bit of poor control in the mix too.

  5. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Watford 0-0 Wolves

Ismaila Sarr and Jeremy Ngakia have had plenty of space out on the right for Watford when they break but they just can't find that final ball.

  6. Lively start at Arsenalpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Arsenal 0-0 Norwich

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Emirates Stadium

Good, open game here with hints of openings at both ends. Arsenal on the front foot but Norwich City are certainly not here just to defend. Getting forward when they have the chance.

  7. Postpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Leicester 0-0 Man City

Jack Grealish goes charging on the break for City. He lays it off to Bernardo Silva on the left but his cross is poked away.

Grealish picks it up again just outside the box but Ferran Torres' effort is straight at Kasper Schmeichel.

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:28 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle

Big chance for Newcastle, they should lead.

Joe Willock nips in to nick the ball away from Bruno Fernandes inside the area but then blazing over from a very promising position.

    Arsenal 0-0 Norwich

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on Final Score

It is a game of basketball, Arsenal have dominated possession the first 10-15 minutes but Norwich probably had the best chance of the game with that Kenny McLean header.

  10. CLOSE!published at 15:27 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle

    Cheeky, very cheeky!

Bruno Fernandes almost does a David Beckham from the halfway line, spotting Freddie Woodman off his line and having a go and narrowly drifting his shot over.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Leicester 0-0 Man City

I said before the game, would players feel the occasion? I feel like the Man Utd lads are.

  13. Postpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Brentford 0-0 Brighton

    Chances at Brentford! To Brentford!

Ivan Toney's low pull back finds Bryan Mbuemo, but he can only swivel and fire over.

Moments later the same player fires over from further out.

Should have at least hit the target with one of them.

Noodles: Saint-Maximin is such a great player to watch. If he was in one of the top six teams he would get talked about a lot more.

  15. CLOSE!published at 15:24 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle

United of the Newcastle variety are causing some discomfort for the hosts on the break.

Allan Saint-Maximin is proving to be a useful outlet for Steve Bruce's side, leading the charge and finding Matt Ritchie.

The Scot has a go from outside the box and a deflected drive is collected by David de Gea.

Has to go down as a shot on target.

  16. Postpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Watford 0-0 Wolves

Watford are seeing more of the ball at the moment. A few half-chances have fallen their way with Peter Etebo smashing it over and Joshua King having a snap shot straight at the keeper.

Emmanuel Dennis has also just been denied by Jose Sa from a tight angle.

  17. Postpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:23 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Southampton 0-0 West Ham

Valentino Livramento steps up from right-back and almost flukes one as his attempted cross lops high towards the back post and Lukasz Fabianski has to retreat to gather under the crossbar.

  19. 'There isn't much quality in the final third'published at 15:22 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Man Utd have played slowly, you wouldn't say there is a lot of quality in the final third. Newcastle are playing a back five with nobody upfront, it is hard to break down but then is when you move the ball quicker.

  20. CLOSE!published at 15:22 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Leicester 0-0 Man City

Ilkay Gundogan whips a free-kick across the box and it's clearly a pre-planned one. It's low for Jack Grealish to hit first time and he just curls it inches over the bar.

Nobody picked up on that. A real chance!
