Steve Bruce must be quite pleased with the way this has gone so far.

Newcastle have largely kept the hosts away from their goal and have looked quite dangerous themselves on the break. They are also winding up the home fans by taking their time with all the goal-kicks and clearing free-kicks.

Long way to go but good from the visitors so far.

Joao Cancelo chips it over the top for Bernardo Silva but he can't quite get on the end of it. It bounces through to Kasper Schmeichel.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and most of the people inside the Emirates scream for a penalty as the striker goes down in the box as he chases a long ball forward. They think Grant Hanley has pulled a shirt. The referee doesn't.
