  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 58 mins

    Wolves 0-2 Brentford

Shandon Baptiste is fouled as he drives forward. It halts a good attack and earns Ruben Neves a deserved booking. Cynical.

  2. Postpublished at 57 mins

    Wolves 0-2 Brentford

Was Hwang maybe a bit too honest in that attack? He stayed up after beating Pontus Jansson, despite an arm across him. Had he gone down, the referee and possibly VAR would have had a decision to make.

Great work from Hwang Hee-Chan! He is lively. He darts on to an Adama Traore forward ball and produces a flick to beat his man at the byline, but his pull-back is cleared. That's the combination for Wolves, right there.

Liverpool v Crystal Palace (15:00 BST)

    Emma Sanders
    BBC Sport at Anfield

It's a warm, muggy day at Anfield as Liverpool look to keep their unbeaten start to the season intact.

They had a good night here against AC Milan on Wednesday in the Champions League but Crystal Palace want to spoil the party.

Patrick Vieira's side stunned Tottenham with a 3-0 victory last weekend so can they do the same again?

Former Liverpool striker Christian Benteke has just been out on the pitch for early media duties and a quick reminisce - he is one player the Reds will be keeping an eye on.

    Wolves 0-2 Brentford

No pressure on Brentford now. They need to stay compact and then look to dart on the break.

Wolves are on the ball for the majority, desperately trying to make something happen, but failing.

  6. 'Wolves needed to change something'published at 13:42 British Summer Time 18 September 2021

    Wolves 0-2 Brentford

    Alan Hutton
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Bruno Lage has changed the formation; it looks like 4-2-3-1 with Hwang just in behind Jimenez. I think they needed to change something; this is the first time they've gone to this formation so we'll see how it goes.

  7. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Wolves 0-2 Brentford

The home fans are getting more and more irate at the officiating here. They want a foul for a challenge on Adama Traore but the referee waves it away. They do then get a free-kick for an Ivan Toney high arm on Ruben Neves but are unhappy that the striker isn't booked.

David Raya really gets them booing by changing his gloves to cause anther delay.

Kyle Utterson: Brentford have been brilliant so far. They have defended really well, played some lovely football and going forward they have caused Wolves loads of problems and been clinical.

    How has that stayed out?!

Adama Traore floats a cross over the outstretched hand of David Raya and across the face of goal. It bounces once but no Wolves player can get in to finish.

Traore remains the man who could alter the course of this contest.

    Will Perry

The “Emptihad”, as Manchester United fans like to call this place, will be just shy of capacity with a crowd of 53,500 expected for the game against Southampton.

Very much agree with Beth - not the first time this season (or last) we've seen skill like that from Toney - yes it was disallowed but we praise continental footballers when they do things like that - it would be great to have a player providing it for the national side.

    Wolves 0-2 Brentford

Wolves are determined to destroy any chance they have of getting back into this. They keep giving the ball away. Bryan Mbuemo is just beaten to a ball through by home keeper Jose Sa.

  13. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Wolves 0-2 Brentford

Poor. Joao Moutinho floats a free-kick straight into David Raya's grasp. In the middle of it, two Bees defenders - Pontus Jansson and Kristoffer Ayer go down. The latter needs some treatment but looks to be OK.

Rico Henry is in the box for a foul near the Brentford box. Chance for Wolves to deliver something...

  15. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Wolves 0-2 Brentford

Oh, it could so easily be 3-0 inside seconds of the restart. A poor throw by Jose Sa leaves Ruben Neves high, dry and ultimately robbed of the ball. Bryan Mbuemo fires wide, though.

  16. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:34 British Summer Time 18 September 2021

    Wolves 0-2 Brentford

Another 45 minutes as entertaining as the first? That'll do nicely.

Hwang Hee-Chan is indeed in the game. He is a half-time replacement for Romain Saiss. Attacking move. Hwang scored on his debut. Wolves desperately need him to follow that up.

Adrian Murray: This is Wolves all over. Struggled when Jimenez was injured. Now he's back, they get forward, get corners, but struggle to get the ball in the net. They were all over Man Utd and still lost. Today, they're a hot mess. This will be a hard season and right now, there.

  18. 'Toney is built for the Premier League'published at 13:31 British Summer Time 18 September 2021

    Wolves 0-2 Brentford

    Alan Hutton
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It has been a brilliant game. Brentford went from strength to strength; they sat in, they frustrated Wolves and hit them on the break. When you've got someone like Ivan Toney up front, who is built for this league - he's big, he's calm and he can pick a pass - you're in with a chance. He's been outstanding.

  19. Postpublished at 13:30 British Summer Time 18 September 2021

    HT: Wolves 0-2 Brentford

Hwang Hee-Chan is doing a pretty vigorous warm-up for Wolves. Could well be seeing him pretty soon.
