It's a decent save, there's lots and lots of power on the penalty from Mo Salah, but it's nowhere near the corner.

At the top level of football, if you don't hit your penalty into the side-netting, it's likely getting saved.

Whenever Milan get the ball, they're trying to slow it down, take their time, play the game at their tempo.

You're wasting your time lads, Liverpool aren't going to let that happen tonight. Milan don't look as though they can live at the pace Liverpool want to play at.

Wave after wave after wave of Liverpool attacks. Diogo Jota finds Mohamed Salah, who curls a shot over.

Ferran Torres commits a foul and Leipzig have a free-kick. It's crossed in, half-cleared and Dani Olmo volleys well over from distance.

Mohamed Salah charges in and sees his powerful strike saved by Mike Maignan, who guesses right.

Good save. He's kept AC Milan's noses just above water.

The fact that it's only one-nil is a actually bit of a travesty, because Liverpool have been so far ahead, they look so quick.

The quality has been incredible and the attitude has been fantastic.

Alexander-Arnold just hammers beyond the Milan defence, there doesn't look they have anywhere near enough pace back there to cope.

This is one of the most one-sided opening 10 minutes I've witnessed in the Champions League. Liverpool are utterly dominant.

City play a very high line and Leipzig striker Andre Silva is caught offside in the centre circle. If Nathan Ake had been slower to move forward, that would have been real trouble.

Sebastien Haller has scored two for Ajax in the opening nine minutes at Sporting Lisbon. It's 2-0 there.

Trent Alexander-Arnold's delivery is met by Joel Matip for a header saved by Mike Maignan.

It's just a matter of time before the Reds score if it keeps up like this.
