I should say I can generally see very clearly with my new spectacles, bought out today for the first time.

Left eye causing a few issues, I blame lockdown for that and staring at a laptop all day.

Still, my spelling has been good today, hasn't it?

    BT Sport

Former Leicester striker Emile Heskey on BT Sport: "Patson Daka has bene fantastic, the whole team has been fast. Can they get off to a fast start? Can they be explosive and get on the front foot? They did that.

"Daka was very sharp on the turn for the goal, can he finish? Course he can but Harvey Barnes is such a powerful player."

Former Leicester defender Danny Simpson: "As good as Daka is going forward, he has to go with the runner at the back. He is a bit lazy and there is no question it is a penalty when the ball hits Wilfred Ndidi's hand.

"Kasper Schmeichel is one of the best at saving penalties but they scored from the rebound."

  17. 'We played well enough to win'published at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2021

    Rapid Vienna 0-2 West Ham

    West Ham United

West Ham captain Mark Noble, who scored the second goal, told BT Sport: "Job done. We could've scored two or three more if we were clinical and our finishing was not as good as it should've been, but we played well enough to win.

"The manager changed the team quite a bit and the boys that came in did excellently. We had two or three chances before we scored and the goals made it more comfortable but at half time we knew they were a good side, would not stop playing and played good football.

"Playing in Europe in my last season as a player is fantastic and the way we're playing in the Premier League and coming first in the group stage of the competition is fantastic.

"Obviously there's dreams [to win the Europa League] but there's some top, top teams in this competition and there's a lot of work to do. Hopefully we can keep pushing on in the Premier League, we just need to keep playing well and deal with the last 16 when it comes."

  18. 'Thoroughly deserve to win the group'published at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2021

    Rapid Vienna 0-2 West Ham

    West Ham United

West Ham manager David Moyes told BT Sport: "A really good, professional job, not just tonight, how we've done in the group and great credit to the whole squad, we've used them all and taken some risks at times but overall it has worked.

"We should've been in front before we did score but there was no doubt we deserved to be in front and no doubt we deserved to win. It's a good sign when we won but don't think we played that well. The players that have come in have really done well. I really think the players have come a long way but there's more to go.

"At the start of the tournament I was unsure how it would be. It was relatively new to the players, but they've done such a great job. We thoroughly deserve to win the group and are looking forward to European football in March and don't have to play in February which helps with the congestion.

"I've tried to chop and change a little bit and keep everyone involved. We can play far better than tonight and we need to do that in the games coming up. We can put this away and focus on the league now."
