    Leicester 0-0 PSV Eindhoven

That's got the fans out of their seats!

Wesley Fofana does well to win possession inside the PSV half and sets up Kelechi Iheanacho who thumps a shot towards the net.

    It falls narrowly wide.

  2. 'Something to hold on to'published at 21:21 British Summer Time 7 April 2022

    West Ham 1-0 Lyon

Lyon give it away and Fornals does well but, Boateng. I don't know what he's doing trying to dribble across his box, he's not quick enough.

And Jarrod Bowen does what Jarrod Bowen has been doing all season, he dinks it over the goalie, a fantastic finish.

I did say this Lyon team are not good enough defensively and West ham would get chances this second half - they've got something to hold on to now.

  3. Boateng at faultpublished at 21:21 British Summer Time 7 April 2022

    West Ham 1-0 Lyon

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the London Stadium

The former Bayern Munich and Manchester City defender Jerome Boateng made a massive error, completely mis-controlling the ball with Jarrod Bowen behind him.

David Moyes' celebrations had some force behind them.

    Chance!

Lucas Paqueta finds space behind the West Ham defence and is found but volleys over.

  5. Postpublished at 21:19 British Summer Time 7 April 2022

    Leicester 0-0 PSV Eindhoven

It's tight and tense at the King Power. Just what a European quarter-final should be. This really could go either way as Kiernan DewsburyHall continues to cause problems, but Leicester do lack a cutting edge in the final third.

GOAL - West Ham 1-0 Lyonpublished at 53 mins

    Jarrod Bowen

    Would you believe it?!

The 10 men of West Ham strike first! They get a bit of luck as Pablo Fornals' shot is blocked and Jerome Boateng miscontrols the loose ball in the box. It allows Jarrod Bowen to nip in and fire a shot that deflects off Boateng and finds the net.

Now the Hammers have something to protect, even with a man fewer.

    West Ham 0-0 Lyon

Romain Faivre's shot is blocked and Moussa Dembele is unable to gather the rebound. It's all Lyon.

    Leicester 0-0 PSV Eindhoven

There is a zip about PSV. They look sharp and continue to be dangerous on the counter. Not much from Leicester this half in terms of attacking threat with 60 minutes on the clock.

  9. The pattern is setpublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 7 April 2022

    West Ham 0-0 Lyon

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the London Stadium

West Ham are going to play on the break and hold their defensive positions.

But already Lyon players are getting space in wide areas. As time ticks on and the home players start to tire, that could become a problem.

    West Ham 0-0 Lyon

There is an awful lot of pressure on Michail Antonio now to hold the ball up when it does come his way. Otherwise, it is coming straight back at the Hammers defence.

  11. Postpublished at 49 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Lyon

The first few minutes of this half have been played pretty much exclusively in the West Ham half. The Hammers with four defenders and the remaining five outfield players strung across the pitch in two banks.

  12. 'It will be interesting to see what Lyon do now'published at 21:13 British Summer Time 7 April 2022

    West Ham 0-0 Lyon

    Clinton Morrison
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I still think West Ham can cause Lyon problems. Michail Antonio can occupy their centre-halves and be clever and win set-pieces.

It will be interesting now to see what Lyon do because they had spells but they weren't really creating any chances - it was like a keep-ball session.

Do they now try to score a couple of goals and try to take the tie away from West Ham? I don't think they will - and I still think West Ham will get opportunities in the second half but it's going to be difficult.

    West Ham 0-0 Lyon

Houssem Aouar gets past Ryan Fredericks and in on the left but the box is full of bodies and the Lyon player's cross is hammered away.

  14. Postpublished at 21:12 British Summer Time 7 April 2022

    Leicester 0-0 PSV Eindhoven

Good news for Leicester. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is back on the pitch after limping off earlier. The Foxes have everyone back after PSV win a free-kick which is wasted after an awful delivery.

  15. Postpublished at 46 mins

    West Ham 0-0 Lyon

Clearly, Lyon are going to see a lot of the ball now.

  16. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 7 April 2022

    West Ham 0-0 Lyon

It's 10 v 11 in favour of the French side and it is back under way.

West Ham have made a change. Ben Johnson is on for Said Benrahma to strengthen things at the back.

    David Moyes still looks furious.

  17. Postpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 7 April 2022

    Leicester 0-0 PSV Eindhoven

A huge roar from PSV's travelling fans as Cody Gakpo goes down inside the Leicester box after a challenge by Ricardo Pereira.

Is it a penalty? Play on says the ref. A reminder there is no VAR at this game.

  18. Postpublished at 21:08 British Summer Time 7 April 2022

    Leicester 0-0 PSV Eindhoven

Now Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been caught. He's in some pain but is able to walk off the pitch after treatment. Is he coming back on?

  19. Postpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 7 April 2022

Does James Maddison have a target on his back? He's been fouled for about the 164th time - this time by Philipp Max. No yellow card says the referee much to the annoyance of the crowd.

Nick: Really feels like ref Felix Zwayer is officiating by a different set of rules to the rest of the world. Keeps blowing to stop games for Lyon “injuries” despite no foul or any actual injury. I thought the rule was only for head injuries? Or at least serious ones.

Alex: I wonder if the Lyon team will spend as much time feigning injuries and running down the clock in the second half now they're a man up?

Lyon have spent the entire first half play acting injuries which the referee has bought every time and he then makes a ridiculous decision to send Cresswell off. Farcical.
