If Lyon want to play out from the back, West Ham are not going to let them, especially with this atmosphere.

The crowd won't let them, they will go and press, be in their faces - they can't let Lyon play out because if Lyon start dominating possession it will be a hard night for West Ham.

Lyon have started on the front foot but West Ham have closed down really well.

Lucas Paqueta is one to watch here. He is floating away from his number 10 position to influence play where he sees fit.

The Hammers will need to be vigilant to keep an eye on him.

Leicester have yet to settle into this. Kelechi Iheanacho is trying to cause problems up top while Youri Tielemans has just gone down after being caught before Kiernan Dewsbury-­Hall wins a free-kick out wide deep inside the PSV half.

Lyon's first real moment of danger.

Fortunately for West Ham, Houssem Aouar's cross floats through everyone and goes out for a goal-kick.

The French side may not be enjoying a great domestic season, but they look confident on the ball here. They play it out nicely from the back under pressure from the Hammers forwards.

Lyon are certainly going to look for Moussa Dembele as often as they can. Watching his goals from this campaign shows he is more than capable of besting defenders physically and for movement.

A really confident start by the Dutch visitors. After Schmeichel's early save, England Under-21 international Noni Madueke sprints forward and forces a corner.

PSV haven't arrived to grind out a result. They're going for this from minute one.

Are we going to see a bit of caution here from West Ham? Try and protect against Lyon scoring to take a result back to France? Or will the Hammers try and blow the French side away?

Huge chance for PSV in the early stages.

Leicester's defence is caught out and Mario Gotze only has Kasper Schmeichel to beat but the Leicester keeper keeps his cool and spreads himself to save.

A big scare for the hosts.

The talking is over, the bubbles have been blown and drifted away. Time for West Ham to show they have it in them to reach a European semi-final.

The final British interest in the Conference League, Leicester City, are ranked 27th in Europe by the Euro Club Index, nine places above Dutch opponents PSV.

Leicester are the highest ranked team left in the competition but this tie is a tougher prospect that AS Roma and Olympique Marseille have.

The Foxes are the third most likely of the eight quarter-finalists to progress with 55% chance of doing so.

West Ham United are the third most likely team to reach the Europa League semi-finals.

The Hammers are ranked 24th in Europe by our Euro Club Index, only four places ahead of opponents Olympique Lyon.

The tie is therefore finely balanced with West Ham slight favourites with 53% chance of reaching the last four.

It's all getting a bit lively in the London Stadium.

At first a lot of fans, myself included, thought that this new Europa Conference League was a bit of a joke, the worst of the best. At the beginning of the season, I didn’t think we would get relegated down to it as we’d have a strong run in the Europa League.

With a shaky season and getting knocked out of the Europa League, it was all doom and gloom about competing in the Europa Conference League, and It felt like a waste of time.

We’ve under-performed this season, competing nowhere near our standards from the past two. I thought it near impossible to get into a Europa League spot for a third successive season, but that is now very achievable for us via the Europa Conference League.
