At the beginning of the season, the Lilywhites haven't won away from home in their first league game of the season in their past five seasons.

All set up for a draw then, eh?

Bristol City won their first game on their travels in the Championship last season when they defeated Stoke 2-0.

However they have not won consecutive games in their first away games of the season since 2000-01 and 2001-02.

They travel to the Riverside today to face a Middlesbrough side that have lost their past six home games against the Robins.

The last time Blackpool hosted Cardiff in their first home game of the season was back in 2009-10.

On that day it ended up in a 1-1 draw but that season was memorable for both sides.

They faced each other again on a scorching day at Wembley in the Championship play-off final at the end of that campaign, with Blackpool sealing a memorable win on their way to promotion to the Premier League.

They had just 24.4% possession - the lowest of any Championship side on the opening weekend of the season.

Fulham travel to the John Smith's Stadium today to take on Huddersfield with the omens on their side.

They are unbeaten in second tier football against the Terriers in a 16-game run which dates back to April 1984.

The last time Huddersfield beat Fulham was a 1-0 win in the Premier League in November 2018 - their only win in their past 15 league games.
