Took a bit longer than we expected that.

Anyway, time to build up to the 15:00 kick-offs.

Jay Freeman will take you through it.

  6. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:31 British Summer Time 14 August 2021

    Peterborough 2-1 Derby

What a way to get your first win of the season.

Peterborough's breathless finish to the contest sees goals from Harrison Burrows and then Siriki Dembele score late on to turn the game around.

Derby had earlier gone ahead when Jack Stretton swivelled in the box, but despite their momentum shift, they could not keep the lead.

Phew. It started pretty quietly, but the excitement was well worth waiting for.

    Well warmed up now.

    Siriki Dembele

What a turnaround and the ball from out wide again is the key. Substitute Siriki Dembele is the hero.

Joe Ward gets into space and puts a cross in which Harrison Burrows is lurking for but Nathan Byrne looks odd on to clear.

He fluffs it, it skews to Dembele who shows real calm to stroke it in.

It was loud before. It's deafening now. Huge, huge, huge.

Despair etched all over Rams boss Wayne Rooney's face.

Jorge Grant bullets a header over the top after Harrison Burrows spooked Nathan Byrne with footwork.

Joe Ward's initial cross was deep but Burrows recycled it beautifully.

This game still has four minutes to play.

    Whistles over from Jonson Clarke-Harris.

Peterborough close to taking the lead there.

    Peterborough 1-1 Derby

Derby get down the right with Tom Lawrence and he puts in a sublime cross which just evades everyone.

Then Posh skip downfield through Siriki Dembele and he's chopped down on the edge of the box.

    Curtis Davies gets a yellow.

    Harrison Burrows

Ecstasy and emotion at the Weston Homes Stadium as Harrison Burrows squares it up for Peterborough.

    Massive goal.

It was a long free-kick from Josh Knight, nodded down by Jonson Clarke-Harris and Joe Ward gets to it before slipping a perfect square ball to the back-post.

Who's lurking? Sub Harrison Burrows. Coolly tapped in. Cue the mayhem.

    Superb.

    Peterborough 0-1 Derby

Peterborough get the ball wide to Harrison Burrows who canters down the left and sweeps in a terrific cross which Jonson Clarke-Harris sniffs after but cannot get his toe on it again.

Posh running out of time. There will be some injury time though.

    Peterborough 0-0 Derby

Oliver Norburn floats a pass forward which Derby cope with easily, and as the ball bounces about on the edge of the box, Siriki Dembele goes down.

It's not running for Posh right now.

They've had more chances, eight to six. But the key stat is Jack Stretton's goal.

  15. Postpublished at 85 mins

    Peterborough 0-1 Derby

Peterborough take Mark Beevers off and Harrison Burrows is on.

  16. Postpublished at 82 mins

Derby County with some defending to do after their goal, and Peterborough making a positive response.

Richard Stearman making a big block.

The goal has given them a feeling of confidence.

  17. goal

GOAL: Peterborough 0-1 Derbypublished at 77 mins

    Jack Stretton

Breakthrough for Derby County and it's young Jack Stretton, on off the bench, who lashes the Rams in front.

Graeme Shinnie swung in the corner, the header from Curtis Davies put it back into the mix and after a bit more pinball and a flick on from Ravel Morrison, there was Stretton to half-volley beyond goalkeeper Christy Pym.

    Peterborough 0-0 Derby

Ravel Morrison gets his skates on and slices through the middle of the pitch, before his deflected shot goes wide for a Rams corner.

When the Rams play direct like that, they are really making in-roads.

    Rams corner.

  19. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Peterborough 0-0 Derby

    Posh come so close.

Siriki Dembele swishes his way down the left and squares it for Jonson Clarke-Harris.

It looks like the chance is opening up but Derby block and Craig Forsyth makes a massive challenge to deny Clarke-Harris at the second attempt.

  20. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Peterborough 0-0 Derby

Peterborough defender Josh Knight comes on for Joel Randall, who has not quite been as influential in the second-half.

Knight arrived from Leicester, I'm sure the away support will bear that in mind.
