It's massively important for them to get this win, for everyone at the club, not just the players, but the fans, the backroom staff.

It'll lift everyone getting that first win in a long, long time.

No wins in 12 matches stretching back to last season for Nigel Pearson's side before their visit to Berkshire.

But still 40 minutes to go in this 20:00 BST kick-off.

    Millwall 0-2 Fulham

Millwall survive another scare as their defenders block goalbound efforts from Fabio Carvalho and Ivan Cavaleiro.

Daniel Ballard then slides in to stop a low cross from reaching Aleksandar Mitrovic, and the Lions defender collides with his own keeper in the process.

Marco Silva has Fulham playing some lovely stuff, and the visitors are a constant threat. A change to 4-4-2 hasn't really helped Millwall since the restart.

    Peterborough United 2-0 Cardiff City

Marlon Pack went very close to hauling Cardiff back into this match after those two quick Peterborough goals.

He met the ball with his right and seemed set to score after wrong-footing the goalkeeper but the ball crept inches wide of the left post.

    Swansea 0-2 Stoke

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

We mentioned the four Swansea old boys in the Stoke ranks earlier on, and sure enough one of them has made a mark on this game.

After Swansea gave the ball away in their own defensive third, Sam Clucas had time and space to pick his spot and roll a shot into the net.

He celebrated by taking off his shirt as he ran to the East Stand - the noisiest corner of this stadium - and holding up the Stoke badge to the home crowd.

It did not go down well.

  14. Powell blow for Stokepublished at 20:55 British Summer Time 17 August 2021

    Swansea 0-1 Stoke

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

This is worrying for Stoke. Goalscorer Nick Powell went down in a heap and immediately raised his hand to the bench.

His night is over thanks to what looks like a knee injury, with Jordan Thompson coming on his place.

Swansea made their first change before the break, with Russell Martin sending on another forward, Joel Piroe, in an attempt to turn the tide of this contest.

The Swans have improved a little since then, but they are still create a chance of any note.

    Millwall 0-2 Fulham

The visitors start with the same intensity from the first half.

Bartosz Bialkowski gets down to his right to pull off a good save from Aleksandar Mitrovic's half-volley.

Fabio Carvalho gets to the rebound first but sends his shot into the ground, and it bounces up nicely for the Lions keeper to claw behind.

    Millwall 0-2 Fulham

Both sides make a change for the second half.

Millwall bring on striker Matt Smith for wing-back Mahlon Romeo, which will surely mean a switch to a back four.

Fulham introduce Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa in place of midfielder Josh Onomah, who looked like he got a knock.

The Lions need a vast improvement after the Whites ran them ragged in the first half.
